Jeff Chandler was one of the best bantamweights of his time. It's a shame he couldn't obtain a fight with Lupe Pintor, the then W.B.C. champ. But, in those days, the ruling bodies of boxing wouldn't have allowed it & that promising bout would have only been a non-title affair. Still, before an eye injury and high living got to him, Chandler fought and beat some really tough guys in that division!

Yeah man he was the cream of the crop and when he got going he was like a train but by the time he fought Richie he was tired he looked completely burnt out no intensity real lack luster we've all been fired up and I know the lackluster feeling
