This is how I feel about my wife and I miss her so much she past away June 15th 2023 at 54 years old to soon. I can't wait to be with her again soon baby!!!
I am so so sorry! I know mere words aren't much comfort but want you to know I know exactly how you're feeling and what you're going thru as I just lost my husband and best friend of 30 years at only 53 suddenly on April 18th. My heart is breaking for you as mine is shattered too. I still can't believe my baby's gone and I miss him so much, every minute of every day. Angel Eyes is our song, we danced to it as he told me for the first time that he loved me and it became our wedding song, which we danced to every time we got the chance thru the years. Hopefully some day you'll be able to smile as you remember all of those cherished memories with your beloved wife. I'll be keeping you and your loved ones in my thoughts and prayers. Sending huge hugs your way. May our beautiful angels rest in peace always 🕊️💔♥️
A favourite of mine for nearly 35 years. This is how I like my ballads - not overwrought but simple, heartfelt and honest. Credit to John Hiatt for originating it, but to me this is a cover along the lines of "Hurt" by Johnny Cash or "All Along the Watchtower" by Hendrix - so good that it became Jeff's song.
💝 🫨 🎸 performance! Listening to the lyrics to this song, I’m fortunately in that they don’t apply to me as they have or could to many others. I made the choice when I was still in my late teens to remain single forever and haven’t once ever regretted it. But THIS song, done by Jeff, gets to me in many ways every time I hear it, and most esp watching him in the video. I’m going on 70 now and have, and always will, ❤️ ALL music genres, as long as it’s done ‘well’ imo. I’m so pleased to have ‘discovered’ Jeff - though it’s been only a couple weeks since I did, I’ve been listening to MUCH more by this gifted 🎁 artist, who managed to overcome his disability of being blind, and imho being better than so many others who have their vision! *** ONE of the many benefits for ME of being single and independent is that I can listen to whatever music, whenever, and as loudly as I want 📣 and nobody can complain!
Awesome playing as always and what a unique Jackson guitar. It must be the one with the red pickups? That's guitar history in so many ways in this video.
Seen him in Roadhouse with my two favorites, Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliott. Both Jeff and Patrick are gone. 😢. His song Angel Eyes popped up on my RU-vid feed yesterday. Such talent he had!
My husband sang this to me the first time he told me he loved me. That was over 30 years ago. It was "our" song, became our wedding song, and we danced to it every chance we got thereafter. One day I hope to be dancing with my husband, whom we lost unexpectedly this past April at only 53, while Jeff plays this for us in heaven💔🕊️♥️
@@lisaowens3817 thank you, Lisa. awww I'm very sorry for your loss, too. my hope for us whom have lost our significant other is that someday we'll be able to smile when all those memories come flooding back whenever we hear AE. sending love and hugs your way. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. May our angels rest in peace always💔❤️
@@trooper999 Awww, thank you. 💜💜 I remember the very day that we lost Jeff. I remember exactly where I was the moment I heard it, and I was devastated. He had such a huge impact in his short life! At least we still have the music, right? 🎵🎶
Maybe we don't bc it's irrelevant. Just because Jeff was blind doesn't mean he couldn't "see". Who are we to say he couldn't recognize beauty when he felt it? Obviously his wife Christy turned her "angel eyes" his way! Think about it...
