Saw him live he also used to dance around the stage while singing and playing, he had 2 guys dressed in black making sure he didn't go near the edge or fall off the stage such a great performer.

When I first heard this song at the end for the credits on Road House.....was very surprised too read that Bob Dylan wrote this song.....Jeff Heally did an amazing job singing & playing his guitar.......& I giggled when that guy called him Elvis too play a song.....what a Great movie Road House I still watch it today

This wa mine and my first true loves song at 16 parking outside town in country on cold and dark beautiful nights. Kissing and making our life plans together. This was our song. We made it through high school and college! Married and 1 yr later divorced...I miss her at times through my life ..this song takes me back through the years to those wonderful years as a teenager cruising the strip in my hot rod 68 RamAir Firebird....Late nights street racing and parking with her! Those were the best days of my life!!!! I wonder if she ever misses me?????? Kids these days don't have a clue about those good old days! All they know is video games and smart phones!!! They would have loved it back then. I miss it so? I'm 61 .....lol.

I met Jeff when i lived in Toronto Back in the Early 80's , wow he was so Handsome and very soft Spoken man , my niece's Husband knew Jeff. i was so Surprised when he came knocking at the front door !!!. that was one Amazing time in my life ! R.I.P JEFF
