ESPN aired a segment on the Nazareth College "Jeff Van Gundy Award" during Game 6 of the NBA Playoffs between the Boston Celtics and the Chicago Bulls. Van Gundy, a current NBA commentator for ABC/ESPN, played basketball at Nazareth from 1983-1985. He was known for his work ethic and love for school during his time at Nazareth.
