I can't imagine exactly how you feel, as I'm cis myself, but I have felt unseen. I've felt erased. My advice to that effect is easier said than done, but when I received it and began to actually practice it, it changed so many things in my life. No one can erase you. No one can make you obsolete. No one will ever be able to do that. Plant your feet in that knowledge and instead of saying "it feels like you're erasing me" simply state your boundaries have been violated, and refuse that person your time or attention until they learn to respect you. Sometimes when you tell people that you feel ignored or unseen, all you do is reinforce the result they're looking for. Your father deadnames you because he WANTS to erase who you've come to be. Not saying he doesn't love you, I don't know the exact situation. But telling him he's making you feel unheard only helps so much when he doesn't WANT to hear you, you know? Anger only makes them defensive. Just, don't give him your attention. Don't give him your time. Show him the consequences of consistent disrespect. If you live together that's a little bit more complicated, but I've been there. For a good three years when I was a teenager I was extremely distant from my mother. Not rude, not hateful or spiteful. Just distant. This tactic forces the disrespectful person to either make an attempt to bridge the gap, or allow the distance to fester. And I'm sure I don't need to tell you, if anyone is willing to accept distance instead of your identity, you are better off learning it sooner rather than later. Sorry for the rant.
