What’s up people. Here’s a little story of a couple that couldn’t take a joke. They got furious Bc of an Epstein joke. But here’s the thing. They handled it the right way. They just left. Like they’re supposed to. ENJOY AND INDULGE!
Very good point. As much as I don't get going to a comedy show if you're sensitive, knowing they make jokes out of literally everything and then walking out, it's still respectable to just leave quietly. But when you're on an island though..
I highly doubt he was booked to show up at the comedy club on a tuesday. He just pops in and gets to go up it's like practice, you get to see what works and what needs work.
It is not a matter of sensitivity but decency. Try telling Epstein jokes to the women who have been victims. Like u don't joke about the Holocaust. There is such a thing as taste.
Humor is often one of the most effective ways of coping with tragedy. There are just some people who simply can't tolerate even the mentioning of certain things. Glad that couple dealt with it respectfully, and glad you respected them back. Stay genuine! ;D
Yeah Fr. Kids don’t get it when I joke I don’t have a dad as a black person because he died when I was young. I’m not finna be sad all the time about it
A comedian's job is to make people laugh. If he's not doing that he's not doing his job. Go talk to Michael Richards, he'll tell you how well "crossing the line" worked for him.
@@yokiryuchan7655 michael richards went on a drunk rant. he was mentally ill. that wasn't part of his thing. that's completely different. people laughed at his apology and it was so awkward to watch. very few white guys will ever get a true n-word pass
@@dearmadeline My point still stands. Let's see a comedian come on stage with a swastika on his chest and start making jokes about killing jews and see how well that goes with the audience. Yeah there is a such a thing as crossing the line.
@@yokiryuchan7655 Great Point. There's also performing a good joke on a touchy subject. And performing a bad joke on a touchy subject. Yes comedy is subjective. That would entail however that there is some form of subjective criteria an individual uses to distinguish between a good or bad joke.
For me he takes too long to tell a joke. I love him but he gets one joke in by the time a comedian would get 6 in. It feels like hes stalling for time haha.
@@SrJumbo nah it's because one of his jokes is as funny as 10 of any other comedian...if he spoke any faster you would be able to hear him over everyone dying laughing 😂..also he's trying new shit so he's taking a second to think about what he's gonna say
Like i said why do you care what people find offensive? People complain about hecklers but when people simply choose to leave they get made fun of? People on this comment section are hypocrites lol
I love how in america, if 99% of people thinks something is funny, but 1% thinks it's not, the whole thing just gets thrown away because it's 'offensive'
Yeah these cancel culture pussies are truly miserable people they wake up every day and find a way to let maple syrup upset them. At the same time they shove their immoral and asinine thoughts down your throat and if you don’t agree you’re a bigot.
@DaGoat the one where your name is DaGoat and you got no views on your videos. Your DaGoat at being unknown. That's the game and if you don't know now you know player.
I totally get people mocking the couple, it's funny, haha.... But if someone is genuinely offended, like if they were molested as a child and they just can't bring themselves to laugh at the subject matter, isn't that what we want them to do? Just go "ehhh... This isn't for me," and leave? I feel like it was totally respectful, idk. We're so ready to jump down people's throats when theyre OfFenDedDDdd about something, we forget it's totally reasonable to not like joking about a subject, so you leave when the subject comes up. Idk, just thoughts
Then don’t go to a comedy show lmaooo. Literally in the name “COMEDY” show. You think he’s gonna go and ask every audience member “what offends you” lmao. That’s why good comedy is so hard to find now because people like you think it should be watered down to nothing because of someone’s feelings.
@@anthonydavenport1841 he wasn’t suggesting or inferring that comedy should be watered down, he was just saying that if someone gets offended about it, that they should just simply not laugh at that joke or leave, rather than flipping tf out at the comedian. Which I agree with
@@crimsontide1980 It doesn't mean you're a bad comedian, but being offensive does not automatically mean you're good. Otherwise someone just screaming the N Word would be considered the pinnacle of comedy.
@@megarooster99 yea that kinda goes without saying. If you can be funny AND you offend someone to the point where they walk out though, then I'd say it's a job well done
The way Andrew laughs at his own jokes is the same way that one kid in middle school would silently giggle after he just said a bad word while the teacher wasn't listening.
No, he's not, he's seperating himself from the joke by talking about it in a past tense and non-personal manner, while telling the "joke" .... socially creative, not very good jokes, just exaggerated observations about a shocking issue.... wait, thats half of standup these days....hmmmm
hey i watched the tedx video this evening you did a great job on the talk and some of things you said resonated with me and ya sent a positive impact Thanks so much
Andrew is so damn natural when it comes to stand up. So much that it doesn’t even feel like he is trying. Just rips up the audience and makes everyone have a damn good time laughing at the expense of someone embarrassment. It must feel good to be picked on in an environment that is all about fun and jokes and be able to just laugh at yourself with other people.
Eh he comes off as insecure. Not everyone is leaving your show because of a joke you told lol. For all he knows the baby sitters times was up. But whatever hes gotta tell himself to not hang himself.
What's up with the 80s pornstar stache? 🤣 Update: That pic is like 4-5 yrs old.. full disclosure.. used to think it was cool.. don't have it anymore.. 🤣
I just realized through your comment WHY and WHEN he does that! Thank you. I thought he was just douchin out! I bet he plans on using the goofy laugh or the Chappelle mic bump to ease the room. A subliminal "liking". Ahhhh huh...
Watched him on brilliants idiots from day 1 and I’m honestly amazed by his comedic growth. He could possibly be one of the best newcomers. Huge future ahead for this man.
@@Platerpus7 In 2019, when so many snowflakes cry about any and everything, that story hardly sounds unbelievable. I can legit hear them whisper to each other, "I'm offended!", right before they stand up and stomp out.
@@justafellowbrother7263 Maybe its where I live but I've never heard literally anybody say (unironically) "I'm triggered" Like the only people I see that seem legitimately offended are Steven Crowder types that exist in a constant state of taking offense at people who are supposedly offended at things lmao
