@@satan9487 yeah schulz's jokes are funny to me because there's actually some intellectual depth to his comedy. He does do the usual woman bad man good routine sometimes but a lot of his jokes actually incorporate more niche things about society that aren't what you usually see.

This is how you do edgy humor. Actual substance to the joke, bobbing and weaving between multiple lines but never punching down. Holy shit that was amazing, and got me at the edge of my seat

On JRE he said the company he bought the special back from told him his jokes punched down. That's why they wanted it censored. You see it how it is, but the mainstream is now too sensitive to let comedians do their jobs.
There's no such thing as punching down. If you put certain "groups" into a category that if you make fun of, is considered "punching down", it means YOU think that YOU are better than that group. Disgusting. If everyone is equal, then everyone can be "punched". Comedy no matter WHAT shouldn't be censored.

Jokes about uncomfortable situations are always the very best, because there is so much tension in the room. This is the best way to get people to think, to expand their thought a little. This man is absolutely great.

What makes Andrew Schulz so legendary is that he attacks issues from all sides without holding back, painting each situation in a light that conveys truth without directly saying it. It's why comedians need to be protected. Because our guards are down when listening to comedy, they're able to make us think and laugh and are invaluable to cultural discussions.
Comedy isn't about taking sides. It's about showing all "sides" how ridiculous they are when they think they're more different than similar with their fellow humans.

Just from seeing small clips of this Special, I can easily tell you that this is one of the best stand ups done in a long time. Im glad there are still people out there who have no filter. Comedy can only be at its best when you have no filter. Good stuff man. Keep up the awesome work.
After this clip, I ordered it and I was watching it in my room. I had to throw on the TV in the Rec room. Once that first ass hit my bed. I almost had the whole family in here. If you grew up listening to comedy before everybody got ultra sensitive. You will love this! When comedy was like this people knew how to laugh at there self and the tension wasn’t as high. But thats the beauty of comedians, they can take a subject that many of us avoid and thrust it into the spotlight. He does it with great skill and it brings people, races and genders together in the way he delivers it.
I’m really amazed by what you’re doing man. I really believe that someone with your following, through all the hard work you’ve done before, can release this special the way you are and it can be a success. Comedy is becoming underground again. The only art form out there pushing boundaries publicly and with an audience. The set looks phenomenal I can’t wait to watch it.

He just wants to be funny. In an interview he said you should never get political advice from a him. He will not say what is right or even what he believes, he will say the funniest thing possible.
It’s crazy how I found Andrew way before he blew up and right after got to see him at the improv here in Houston, always knew this guy was a master at this comedy stuff, even have a picture with him, I’m 38 and so is he so we see things I guess a certain way.
I think Andrew Shultz gave me the push I need to officially pursue comedy. We flow the same but I needed this laugh and to do it often would keep me forever young.

Being able to think back on the couple yrs I been listening to schulz and watching this teaser was very satisfying. Some of these jokes were definitely crafted on his pods or other content. Couldn't say which is from where anymore, but being able ro remember bits and pieces of where a joke was born while watching them in their full refined glory was both hilarious and heartwarming.
You can tell he's inspired by Dave. Schulz should work on his specials. His top off the head skills are fire. The way he brings up and talks about political issues from both sides is amazing. We should all be able to laugh regardless of our views. Mans killing it and I'm so happy to been watching his vids ever since he was relatively unknown. Great inspiration!
Sometimes i feel guilty laughing at controversial jokes / humor. But this one is guilt free like those salads my aunt orders in public while devouring lamb chops in private. Great writing as always. Walking and even stepping a bit beyond the line but still makes it feel easy to talk about. Context is everything... And you always make us realize something in the end. Genius!!
