@@Highontheholyghost I got a job and I had lunch with a Christian girl. I was a JW. We were debating at lunch our for a month. She invited me to a special church program so I went because her Jesus felt so real to me and I gave in. I thought I was going to be cursed because I went and nothing happened. I felt true love of Christ. I'm glad your out. So my mother was hard core JW . She got saved at age 80. I would witness to her for 30 years and she would not give in. She died at 91 . Saved in Christ Jesus.

Omg no way I am so happy for you and your mom! I pray this happens for my family. Do you remember what your conversation or what the shifting one was for your mom?

@@Highontheholyghost my mom need blood at age 80. My catholic sister tried convincing her to take or else she will die. Me and my sister told her we will give her our blood and she said yes. Which was not true . We wanted her to live. After that she was shunned. She was very depressed after. My christian brother offered to take her to a Spanish church service. She loved it. She got baptized in a river too. She had so much joy and before she was bitter. She died at age 91 peacefully she lived 11 more years saved by the blood of Christ

@@suejoyful5576 wow. Just wow. God is so good. I am so happy she got to live experiencing what true grace is and true relationship. No doubt the blood transfusion and the shunning felt like a tragedy to her but it was all apart of God’s plan. So faithful.

It wasn’t a hall it was a golf course and it wasn’t our birthday it was just a random party/dance they through for all the kids/teenagers in the area. Yes I was very blessed

Yes brother. Your genuine desire to know God, is what he wants. It’s all he wants. Cry out to him. Give him the access to make himself known to you. It is his promise that to those who humble themselves and all their preconceived ideas of who he is, he will extend his hand too. Keep in contact. I’m sure he will meet you soon❤️ one of the hardest things to do is to pray to God as if he is really really listening when we have never felt heard before. But it is the key.

@@Highontheholyghost I always felt a connection to God apart from the organization, I never quite felt like I fit in to the "spiritual brotherhood"... Now I realize why. Still, my relationship with God was somewhat hindered by being part of the cult...so yes i hope to draw closer to him and know him for who he really is. She genuinely always had a calling to God before she got wrapped up in the org which made her not fit in and feel like she must be one of the annointed since she knew she felt so different so she would partake in the bread and wine and all they all judged her hardcare

Oh praise God! What was your process of waking up like? Was there a certain catalyst? And I understand that feeling of having doubts. What helps is looking up all the Old Testament references they use in the New Testament to describe Jesus. For example in hebrews 1 the author is clearly describing the Son, yet he is using quotes from the Old Testament in psalms that are clearly describing Jehovah. Like it literally says “to the son” and then “David was talking to Jehovah.” Understanding that the authors were primarily writing to people who knew their old testemant like the back of their hand and so they used that too their advantage in order to drive their point home that Jesus IS Yahweh. The book of revelation is great too because there is no denying Jesus calls himself first and last alpha and omega. My mom said “he is a different first and last” lol

@@Highontheholyghost What started the waking up process for me was having distance. I think you also mentioned this helped you, not being plugged in daily to WT . We emigrated and so there was a time when we didnt attend meetings as frequently as we were settling into our newlife in a new Country. Then one day I came across a documentary called " Going clear" its about Scientology, however I could see the similarities with WT, you are kept so busy, you are supposed to do all these courses, anyone leaving is called "a suppressive" i.e. apostate. They interviewed ex scientologists about their experience since leaving, how they are shunned by family members, and the impact that has on their lives etc. As witnesses when someone is df'd you cant speak to them, so you have no idea why they were df in the first place, so you draw your own conclusions, and you have no idea how it affects them. So this documentary made me see the cruelty of shunning. It started to make me think, took me 3 days to go online and type in JW, I felt so guilty doing research but something inside me just had to know. Came across jw facts and lotsof other sites. Read Ray franz book and by the end of that book I said " thats it, im never going back to the kh. But then its like, what now? what is truth? Its been a rollercoaster, doubting God, and feeling angry why I was a Jw in the first place. I am glad I am in a good place now. I do believe in God, and Jesus, and I can see that Jesus is spoken of as more thsn just a man, and spoken of as God. I think when you have believed in something for so long and called it "the truth" and then been deceived so badly, its hard to fully trust. Ive done all the reseach on the Trinity, got James White book etc, I can see it in scripture, I just wish I could fully say it 100% is true without any doubt at all. I will continue to pray about it. 🙂

Never underestimate the power of prayer! A part of my story I don’t think I got to in this video is how I’m adopted but my Biological family, on my dad’s side are all Christians. My birth mom kept me a secret, her entire Pregnancy and didn’t tell anybody about me until my birth father passed away when I was 3, and she wanted to put a picture of me in his casket. After his family found out about me, and found out that I was being raised as a JW, they went to spiritual war for my soul. 23 years. Never stop praying for your family! The org is continually changing so much I believe there will be a mass exodus!

@@Highontheholyghost: Ok, here you go. My experience was different from yours of course. This is the way I’ve explained it on other Ex-JW channels so that they also get to hear the gospel preached, because unlike you, many Ex-JW’s still aren’t saved, and they are so lost that they don’t even know of their need for salvation. It was a combination of things that caused me to fade away from the JW organization prior to my salvation experience. It wasn’t because I thought the JW’s were not the true religion. I did think they were at the time. It was more because of the fact that I was a hypocrite with hidden sin in my life and I knew it but could never straighten myself up and make myself right and I didn’t know why. I had also graduated tech school and got a job in another town and moved and never felt very welcome in any of the Kingdom Halls that I tied attending in the new town. So I had basically stopped attending any JW meetings for several years. Then my brother came to visit and brought a video for us to watch called “Close Encounters of the God Kind” by this preacher named Jesse Duplantis in which he described all his experiences with God, including seeing angels and even being caught up into heaven. The way he described everything I remember thinking there is no way that this guy is making all this stuff up. It seemed so very real to me. Then at the end of the video he led everyone in a prayer to receive Jesus as your Lord and savior. I didn’t pray the prayer with him the first time I watched the video, but a few days later I watched it again when I was alone and I prayed and gave my life to God and asked Jesus to be my Lord and savior. After that, I felt different. I was no longer struggling so much with my hidden secrete sins. I was a changed man. I threw out all my pornography and I became so very hungry for God. I started reading the whole Bible (starting with the New Testament). I also began praying to God every day. I also began listening to different preachers on TV and reading just about every Christian book I could get my hands on. I began to see right through all the false teachings of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and came to understand the true gospel of the kingdom which most of the world doesn’t seem to understand. Most of the world and just about all other religions (other than true Christianity) seem to have this idea that God is weighing our whole life on the balance scales of good and bad, and if we are good more than we are bad then maybe God will accept us and let us into heaven (or as the JW’s teach, if we are a good enough witness then God will give us eternal life). But that is not the true gospel. The true gospel is this. None of us could ever be good enough to measure up to God’s perfect standard and could never do enough to earn our own salvation. We have all sinned and fallen short and the punishment for our sin is death. But God loved us so much that he decided to come to earth himself as the man Jesus Christ to take our place; to take our punishment and die in our place. And now for those who accept that they could never be good enough (accepting their need for a savior), and who accept the true savior Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior; to them he gives the gift of righteousness and eternal life. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law (apart from being good enough at keeping the law) is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. When you accept Jesus as your savior, he gives you a new heart (a new spiritual nature) and you are born again. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 1 John 5:1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God… When you accept Jesus as your savior, he gives you a new heart which is born again with a new spiritual nature that has right desires and no longer has a sin nature. You will still have some lust in your flesh to deal with but the real you on the inside will not desire evil things any more. So I’m not saying that we should not be good and do good to others, but doing good works cannot save us, only Jesus can. Of course we should do good, but doing good doesn’t earn our salvation, it is the product/the result/the fruit of our salvation and new birth in Christ. God’s love to you, and I pray to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; that He would grant to all current and former Jehovah’s Witnesses the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. So that they all would come to know the real truth and the real Jesus who is alive and is ready to meet with each of them in a very real and personal way. To Him be the glory forever. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
