I try to “sneak in” the true gospel every time we meet. And pray that each time I tell them that Christ said, “it is finished,” it would water that seed a little more.

@@Highontheholyghost it has been a blessing to speak to them each week. They are so deceived and lost and the love I have for them through Jesus compels me to study my Bible like I never have before! They usually squint at me or do a little head tilt but haven’t fully addressed it yet lol. I assume they would believe “it is finished” would apply to Adamic sin rather than the sins of the world. Btw, I would love to see a video some time where you explain the JWs beliefs on salvation and the purpose of Jesus’ death within the organization’s doctrine. So much of it doesn’t add up for me.

@@Highontheholyghost I've tried to explain to my brothers and sister ,that are JWs , the Bible says we are judged according to our heart. Therefore salvation cannot be about any particular organization or denomination, it is personal, an individual salvation.

@@Highontheholyghost true , but our works show our faith or belief. Faith with out works is dead and faith working through love are two scriptures showing that we don't just continue to willfully sin after we accept Jesus payment of our sin.

Like you, I always was a critical thinker. I had questions that couldn't be answered for years. The theology just didn't make sense on so many levels. After several years of addiction and a broken marriage, my aunt got through to me with the true gospel, and it wasn't till I was miraculously delivered from the addiction, and received the Holy Spirit, that God started revealing the history of the Org. to me.

The attributes define God

Yes Gods timeline is a lot different than ours, we just have to humble ourselves to the spirit and let him do the word. He is working 24/7 never takes a day off. Even when we have no idea he is working on them. All it would take is God empowering another believer whose door they knock on the next weekend to use one of those scriptures with them as well, for a sign to go off for them. We never know the unique and personal ways that God is planning on moving. Your love was a witness to them! Your calm spirit was a witness to them. May God bless and redeem your efforts!

Many people abstain from pagan holidays. That’s not the point. The point is, key beliefs, like HOW WE ARE SAVED, WHO JESUS IS, and if we have to be in a certain religion and anybody outside that religion is doomed, they completely read INTO the Bible. It isn’t there. They follow the Old Testament so “literally” that if two people don’t witness a child being molested, there is not reports made nor does the man lose any privileges. If you do know, THIS ISNT BIBLICAL. The Bible literally says if a damsel is raped and there is nobody there to hear her screams the man was to be put to death. They pick and chose what they want to incorporate. If you question anything the watchtower prints you get disfellowshipped which means your friends and family, anybody they have ever known is not allowed to speak to them-period-or they risk themselves being shunned. I can certainly respect people trying to obstain from pagan practices and live righteously, but when it is out of fear of losing all your loved ones, that is not from the heart and not worship God wants. Please look up the Australian Royal Commission. Please RU-vid hidden videos of the elders meetings. These elders ask the most wildly innapropriate questions to underage girls when they have sexual encounters “well did you like it? What position? Did he finish? Did you finish?” ALL WHILE TAKING NOTES. WHERE IS THAT BIBLICAL, sex is sex. Period. The dirty grimy details should be irrelevant to the three older men asking young women these questions behind closed doors.
