When I first saw you all videos I was thinking these are some mad apostates I need to stop watching these videos. I kept watching you all videos and boy oh boy freedom was on the way. I was hurt and shock what I heard. I kept watching you all videos. I wrote my disassociation letter in January of 2018 being baptized for 2yrs and around the organization 8yrs.

THANK YOU!!! This explains exactly my journey. After being in the 'borg' for over 4 DECADES and watching the Leah Remini Scientology & the Aftermath my path to 'fade' began. Your channel and others in the community have been a lifeline!!! These are truly treasures to cherish!!!

If they would stop putting the governing body and the wt magazine before everything including Jesus Himself, they would see the real Truth!

My moment was doing wensday night book study, I started reading the bible and saw that just from reading, I didn't come to the same conclusion as the society did.

Everything you said was so true. I'm still shaking my head after 4 years out, wondering how did I fall for the lies? The final phase is absolutely the worst. You will go through mental turmoil that is equal to PTSD. You really do think you are going crazy.... but they are really the crazy ones!!

I didn't have any family members in the org. Only a faded wife who left me, ex mother and father in law. I did bonded with a couple of guys in the org. They noticed I was missing meetings. I received texts and phone calls asking was I ok?. At that time I was slowly waking up. One of the brothers who I really consider my friend it hurt me to tell him I found out the truth about the org. I kept my course no matter how it hurted me. I still have to be careful I was indoctrinated for 8yrs. Keep up the good work friends.

You two are so lucky to have left the JWOrg together. It was an accumulative effect with me. But I couldn't discuss things with my JW wife. I would bring things up and she would flip out. Trying to keep my marriage intact kept me around for 7 plus year longer. We still went our separate ways. Never underestimate the power of denial! =)

What turend me off was the busy bodies. And people trying to tell me where to work. I am an administrative assistant and it was suggested that I quit that job and clean houses. My younger sister was a witness but she stopped attending the meetings. I have no other relatives who are JWs. I haven't been to a meeting in years and I am not upset about it. One sister is always getting on my nerves and I just ignore her because she is a "busybody" and don't have a life. She feels that since she's been baptized a long time, that she knows it all. I am happy with my decision and I am at peace.

Man that part at 25:00 talking about the judicial meetings - 5 years ago I literally sat there scared to death that I was gonna get DF’d. I was publically reproved and it tore me up and I was so depressed. I look back and can’t beleive I was lied to so much

I have been out for less than a year. I would love to find people I could discuss the Bible with, but another casualty of falling for Watchtower lies is the fear of being sucked in to yet another deceptive group. I always enjoy these videos. They are informative, true and extremely well done.

If I may add my two cents, as a former elder myself spanning a decade and being a traveling public speaker on many topics, I am now of the opinion that true RELIGION doesn’t exist in the truest sense. Here’s how true religion SHOULD look if the statement from Garret Lösch, “We have the truth the ONLY truth”, is correct. Everything THAT particular religion teaches must be true while at the same time everything every other religion teaches is false. A critical thinking question is, does such a concept exist? Of course not. All religions teach elements of “truth” and “false”. I put those words in quotes because not only does that concept not exist in purity, the words “truth” and “false” are often subjective; based on the holy book you adhere to, the way that holy book is interpreted and understood by those taking the lead and to which you have externalized your power to decide to, the general pool of consensus you are surrounded by, your personal conscience and so forth. So, my way of looking at this now is, instead of looking for the true RELIGION, if God is still on your radar, why not try to identity true WORSHIP. That is to say, why not embrace the aspects of worship that you have proven to yourself to be acceptable to the god you are acknowledging. I’m so recently out of this particular religion that has misrepresented YWWH so badly and traumatized me about other gods that I am unsure what to to about worship at this point in my life. Since I still highly esteem the “Christian” Bible (I know; strange name for a book that spends so much time focusing of ancient Hebrew law, tradition and practices) I’m reading it all over again (not the NWT), with an open mind while trying to walk a new path of authenticity, peace, love and morality to the best of my ability while trying to get my traction under me. I feel my path will become more solid soon.

I've been binging your videos all week. Don't think I've commented yet, so just want to say how much I love your channel. Hands down, among the most valuable out there. Good knowledge, fun to watch, and I like that you're not afraid to talk about the less verifiable (but we all KNOW it's true) "culture". The culture of pressure and judgment is often the worst part. Thanks so much. My husband and I left 46 years ago. I was fortunate because we were forced to another congregation in another state while my husband served a mandatory sentence for not serving in the military. No one helped us not contacted us from the old congregation. The new congregation acted as if was no big deal to have your entire life changed based on the Watchtower's teaching. Fortunately for me, I decided to take some college math classes in the summer and we never looked back. Keep reading, learning and set tiny goals. Your life will become your own.

The one thing i find hard to express to some, is that this is a long , well thought out process. This is a good way to show the levels of the process. When someone has decided this is not for them.....It is a long and well thought out road. There is no level of warning for the feelings one will feel in these stages. It feels like your entire world has fallen out from under you, and your level of trust of everyone and every thing is killed. Now everyone and everything is untrustworthy, because the one anchor you had, that was truth, love, and everything, is now false. which makes life false. You have to relearn how to trust, and how to address social interactions again. You have to decide to youre going to fake it for family (PIMO- Physically In, Mentally Out) or depart (Physically IN, Mentally Out). This is the best representation i have seen to show what we all go through as we reach the decision. Great job, and thank you!!!

I went back and watched this video again and really paid attention to the manner in which this video was done. It truly is the most professional ex-Jw video on utube. I really like the way you produce these videos! They are so well done that they make the experience of listening enjoyable plus the information is so helpful! You guys left way before I did. I started my fade around 2003. It was a rough time as I didn't have as much information as we had now. It was literally stepping out on faith as one was literally ostracized when leaving. To this day I still have people fascinated I am doing well physically, mentally, and emotionally since "leaving Jehovah". It's like people sit around and wait for the other shoe to drop. I could never go back to the organization. My conscious would not allow me to. I never divulge to anyone I was a JW. I see no reason too. Water under the bridge for me.

You are soooooo right. Being a Jehovah's Witness is not a normal life, it's a life of control based on lies, deceit, falsities, false prophecies, etc. Oh to to be free as our Heavenly Father created us to be, and yes, we are very much, even more so in His Love and that also of Christ Jesus, whom the governing body usurps and put themselves in his place.

Alot of good points made but I really like what was said in the few min. from the 24:00 min. mark. Yes, 'we got hoodwinked and bamboozled'. We were duped, but through the power of the internet we woke up. There's nothing we can do about the past. We just have to move forward. Thanks for this video

The day before my "sentencing was passed" I visited this sister and we hung out cooking and had dinner, while the while I was thinking: "I will never see you again" in the back of my mind. As we said our goodbyes, she said in part that I remembered, WHATEVER YOU DO, I WISH YOU THE VERY BEST. It's like she knew.....After 20 years I appreciated home in concept when I started thinking- "You know what, anywhere I go is home for me" and the context I was living in started to change slowly....Just yesterday morning I shared with my friend that I never realized what a blessing it was to be a homeowner, and I told him that thanks to your critical thinker videos on youtube, you've helped me finally ARRIVE HOME!!!! Another great video folks! JT, you did a video not too long ago about the Watchtower's different corporations and the size of their bank accounts. I have often wondered about the so-called "faithful and discreet slave" and if they practice what they preach as far as living a frugal lifestyle. I suspect they do not. Considering your time spent at Bethel, what knowledge do you have of this? Can you do a video on the subject? The love of money is the root of all evil.

I was an unbaptised publisher for 11 years and I had a good time and it certainly turned me around from my old ways but I knew deep down there was something wrong but couldn’t pin point it. I got baptised after 11 years .As I was getting baptised I said to the brother in the water “ this baptism is in the name of the father the son and the Holy Spirit” he said “yes of course”. From then on it began to dawn on me and I researched the society and studied the doctrines against the bible and it fell apart like a wet tissue. The UN membership was a big issue. The failed prophesies, the big house and cars for the resurrected Moses etc. That the president used until they turned, up which they didn’t . Ray Franz excellent books Crisis of Conscience and In Search of Christian Freedom. It’s almost endless once you get into it. Turn to Jesus and he will show the you exit . You won’t believe how fast they drop you. The greatest friends you ever had suddenly drop you like a hot stone.

This video literally makes me want to cry. I'm a 34yr old man and I've been baptized since 19 and raised around the truth my whole life. What started to make me aware was finding out Jesus is not our mediator in jw doctrine and even after reading the Watchtower's explanation I couldn't rock with it and then seeing Jeffrey Jackson admitting they are not Jehovah's Spokespeople on the ARC. Now I've done tons of research and I'm at base 3 but now I think I'm going to lose my wife because she's already a Prideful, combative, and strong woman . She defends the organization and fights me on anything I say or point out. It's tearing her apart and I can't jack back into the matrix to make her happy, I can't

I am LOVING your videos. I was a born-in, but it never made much sense to me. I was never baptized, thankfully. It’s been many years since I attended a KH or convention. (I’m befuddled by this “overlapping generation” concept that they are feeding folks now. I have no idea what that is!) I recently started watching the exJW groups because I fear for my young niece and nephews that are being raised as witnesses. I started getting really uneasy when hearing the GB admit that they were neither inspired by God nor infallible, but then tells people that they have to listen to them, no matter how distasteful or if it didn’t make sense on a human level. Um, what?! I’ve been arming myself with the lies that the society has told over the years to plant the seeds of doubt, and at least get my sister (and mother) to “second base”. Thank you for so clearly defining the process; one that I knew, but never really thought much about. Keep your videos coming!

I think a lack of purpose and no where to go is an issue- this is what was brought up in the discussion- especially with one in the group. I personally feel as if I am in the middle of nowhere and that is quite literally also.

Thank you!! for saying the best example is to live your life, and take care of yourself. It is so true. I was in the supermarket a few days ago and saw a woman I knew from the KH, she still looked sad and confused, wearing no makeup as always just horrible. Me I have new glasses I wear makeup I have lost weight and toned up....she took a quick glance at me and looked the other way. They are so confused when they see us looking better after leaving!

JT and CC have helped me tremendously. Jehovah will bless them because they help so many people in there transformation which was a very difficult time, for me anyway. After 50 years of affiliation and leaving my body and mine was a wreck because this was something I never experience. But at the end of the day I could not believe how happy I was to leave the Watchtower and not serving the Governing Body. See people it's not hard to notice that this religion is Not true all you have to do is go to the Kingdom Hall and see the confusion at the Hall. Constant talks on giving love to your brothers and sisters, favoritism, Headstrong brother who are puff up with Pride. To be truthful going to the Kingdom Hall is a joke. Everybody there is very judge mental and most have very little education. Most brothers at the halls are much of nothing from 9 to 5, but from 7 to 9 they feel like they invincible. And that's the big problem. 2 Timothy 3: 1-5

It really is encouraging to hear "we look back and laugh" because I can already relate a little. Even though I'm still stuck at 3rd, 6 months ago I was scared to death! I was so paranoid that I even used a VPN to watch these videos! Completely irrational!! What stopped that fear was Deut.18:20-22. When God tells you to not be afraid, that is hard to beat. Still, it took months for that fear to slowly dissipate. The more I've read the Bible, the better I've felt. My fav new scripture is James 4:11-12. Which tells us not to slander one another. If we judge each other, we do not keep the law, but judge it. "There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you--- who are you to judge your neighbor?" I think most apprehension revolves around fear of being judged... so we should remember they're the ones violating Bible principles!

A few years ago when my friend and I had an argument, I got kicked out for a while with no place to stay. I thought to myself, "what am I going to do? Then I thought, "You know what? As long as Mother Earth isn't pissed off at you and rejects you and float of this planet, you'll be alright, and like a cat falling, it always lands on its feet. At that moment it was an awakening and a reminder of my "disfellowshipping"

My way to freedom was accomplish in only one step. I stopped going to meetings and within a month, dark clouds has gone from my eyes.

The book 'DOOMSDAY DECEPTION - The Rise and Fall of the Watchtower Society' was published on July 29, 2021. Within weeks of publication of DOOMSDAY DECEPTION, Pastor Russell's graveside pyramid monument was swiftly removed on 2nd September, 2021, having lain forgotten and neglected for more than a century. My mental sanity came into question: I was either going to end up in an insane asylum or worse. Now almost 26 years later, I figure now that people come and go out of one's life, but one has to be happy and at peace with oneself and to enjoy one's life and enjoying the blessing of living!

I left in the early to mid 90s, the first thing that changed once I was out was the definition of the small flock while the “friends” saw it as new light I saw it as a shift in an opposite direction, I saw it this way because I was already out. There was an Elder that left he didn’t do a traditional fade. He left in such a way they couldn’t touch him but they made him sign a no disclosure document.

I am fading- just very recently we had a more open discussion about "some issues" which also included pedophiles and a very recent event in a KH not far off. I left by saying, " It is good to clear the air and just talking about it." I will see if there is any repercussion. Through the years those that seem negative might "fall out" or get disfellowship. Everybody will reflect back about the negativity they exhibited.

i was happiest serving jehovah i was disfellowshipped in 07 because i started smoking again, i wished i had postponed that committee meeting for another week i think i couldve licked the habit my ex died in 2017, he was out too and i no longer have anybody to share notes with i appreciate your channel cuz im lonely

I read many of the comments given by ex JWs and I did not see one that supported the work of th JW society. Now I realize that JW people are not allowed to read anti JW literature therefore the reason for no rebuttals. I was raised Catholic and recall that the church had many of the same restrictions that JW has. My mother was told that she must send my sister and I to Catholic school or she would be living in mortal sin and would go to hell if she died without repentance. I recall grade school classmates breaking into tears because the nun said that marriage between a Catholic and a non-Catholic was sinful and that the Catholic in that marriage was living in mortal sin and doomed to hell. I realize that they were teaching what they believed to be morality but in fact was spiritual abuse. I abandoned the Catholic church in my thirties and for years lived a life of immorality. Fortunately I was able to rebound and recapture the values that had been passed to me from my mother and have lived a fairly good moral life since. I would tell anyone whose life is dominated by their religion to let go of it and join with God one-on-one. He will guide you.

I disassociate at 22 .. today at 62...My Mom, Sister n Brother is still in the ORG... their Life is so Unhappy... I've spoken to them about the Fallacies of the ORG it fell on Deaf Ears... they said Armageddon is Near ...it Saddens me how the GB (8 Simple Man ) has Brainwashed them...🤯🤯🤯

I love the part about living a happy and successful life. Also, I thank you for sharing the inner workings of the organization. It enlightens people raised in it and people like me who came in as an adult. When I was baptized I didn't know that it would be a process to get out of this "cult". I was disfellowshiped but not angry at all. I was happy to be in an organization that wanted to keep itself clean. Unlike what I experienced in the church. Where people do want they want and just attend on Sunday. After almost dying and I refused a blood transfusion happily. After a few months I was hospitalized again and they (hospital liason) me I could take fractions. That was my beginning to say "what in the world!"

I simple became aware, it was this one straw that broke the camel back, what I saw the impartiality of the Elder. One older Elder he was a book study conductor , he was one of the one who started the congregation in our location. He had been a JW for year & over his tenure things had change so when he taught he had start getting confused with the many changes, he was about 80yrs old. So he was really has become discombobulated because of the many changes. So when I notice he was really confused. I had learned about the org when they was going through the transformation with the disruption in bethel. Later to learn it was Bro Franz being enlighten with his awareness . Later when I heard about the fraction of Blood , when I HAD BEEN A POSITION THAT i refused blood, now JW change to fraction of Blood, I ask them a question to describe how you can fraction blood. Well course you know , you can't ask question because you become like doubting Thomas. I continue to start doing research, by that time it was so much to relate to, after reading Brother Raymond Franz Book, every light came on , I was Aware, I HAD Analysis the Apprehension was not the most important problem . So my daughter & I decided when we will leave to be unnoticed, so the week before the convention. Never return, I was real depress because living in a small toWn where the people was closed minded. I really love associations, y'all are really my friends in my head. One of the most encouraging people I every encounter. Thanks so much, believe it of not y'all have made many differences with people listen to your channel. I have been gone 5yrs ago, i left in 1989 & return because I still believe it was the truth. Now I can really say I have past through the green light. The Beauty of it all it is a part of False Religion.

My AHA moment was when I read how Charles Taze Russell separated from his wife, arguing she wanted to take a more prominent part of Watch Tower Bible & Tract Society. He was a spouse abuser according to today's standards. For me how a man treats his wife is way more important than his great spirituality or if he is in direct connection with God. That was enough for me! Then I began to prepare my escape.

When I smelled the faintest hint of criticism from a friend regarding the change to the generation teaching, I scolded him. I had this instinct to defend the organization no matter what. It’s unbelievable what indoctrination (in my case since childhood) does to a person.

I appreciate your videos, I was in the PIMO stage for 8 yrs and your videos was instrumental in making the decision to leave along with my family..... It's a relief that I finally feel like I'm not going crazy!!!! Lady Cee and JT have been a blessing in my life... Keep up the good work.

One thing I have noticed since leaving is how much talent there is among Ex-Jw's. Many now able to share these talents and be who they truly are (including myself:) Each Time I watch your videos I can't help but think you should have your own Talk Show or something because you are all so natural in your presentation. One way to look at it is they tell you you will fall on your face BUT THEY DO NOT TELL YOU YOU CAN GET BACK UP AGAIN AND THRIVE WITHOUT THEM. Just like with many things, falling isn't necessarily a bad thing, since it's not about sin but about being able to live well.... falling down isn't bad when learning to ride a bike or climb or.... So if people have a hard time at first, it's like with everything else.... falling down isn't the problem, as long as you GET BACK UP AND KEEP TRYING.... So they lie too, acting like leaving will mean total ruin forever.... but for everything in life it's not the falling down that's the be-all end-all... it's getting BACK UP, or giving up that determines the eventual outcome. Falling is nothing as long as you get back up... and they don't tell people they can get up on their own without the Org.... Which is a sign of an abusive relationship, is it not?

I enjoyed the video. I realized something was very wrong when I was living my life waiting to fall asleep in death and I did not want to be resurrected into the new system. The thought of having to live with those people made me depressed. Plus living day to day life is difficult anyway due to abuse in my past. My Son who is now 16 and I lived with my Mom who is baptized and my Stepfather who is not baptized but goes to the meetings until last year. We moved several states away for my job. My Mom told me my job came in between me and my relationship with Jehovah. My Son and I attended the Memorial in 2017 and other than that have not gone back to the meetings. We do not know any Witnesses here but doubt if we did that they would say anything. We were outcasts any way. I’m gathering information now so I can help my Son and I heal as well as I’m so confused on what to believe in. I have not written the elders in my congregation and I am wondering if that may be necessary due to closure purposes for my Son and I.

The awakening is the Holy Spirit giving one the revelation that Jesus is God.
