Jehovah's Witnesses Knocking on my door 

I live in Australia. I had involvement in the Royal Commission here. Am also related to Geoffrey Jackson of GB. My own little girl was victim of child sexual abuse by her father who has remained a JW to this day. The JW Elders, Circuit Overseers and others continue to refuse to do anything about it. This man at your door does NOT know the TRUTH about what truly happens in the JW Org as regards child sexual abuse!

Great conversation! I woke up a year and a half ago. I've learned not to force my family into opening their eyes to this harmful cult. I try to encourage critical thinking. Unfortunately at 46 I've wasted most of my life to this Society/Organization.

The memories of being forced to go door to door when I was 10 or risk losing what little privileges I had. Felt so bad for waking up all these working people who might have to use Saturday as their recovery day.

I would encourage any JW to read the entire back catalogue of their own literature. Then ask yourself, why would Jehovah allow his chosen people to write so many falsehoods - and sometimes hurtful and dishonest things for most of their 100+ year history?

You're very patient. I used to be a JW and did this "work" for 35 years. When I get the opportunity, I'll ask them why they believe theirs is the true religion, and ask about the succession of governing body members since they were (supposedly) appointed by Jesus in 1919CE.

These are key terms that JWs tend to use at the door: neighbors, world conditions, mankind, hope, future.

The logical flaw that elderly JW made was when he said that the elders thought in their naivete that they were doing what was right. Well, it's JW canon that you ALWAYS pray for God's direction. So, what happened with God's direction for the elders? Hopefully one day these 2 men will wake up.

I was a ministerial servant and pioneered and hated morning service not only cuz of the early waking up but to disturb the peace of others. I mean after all we “carry Jehovahs name” a God of peace. So never understood early preaching. It’s stupid. I never converted anybody and I would spend hours every year for maybe 4 people to say “ok sure I’ll take your magazine” and then never be at the house again. Normally I would find anything apostate or any recording of the JWs disturbing and disrespectful but that was my training to think that way. This was very informative. Been awake for 2 years. If your reading this, always remember to treat Witnesses knocking on your door with respect for taking the liberty of waking up extremely early and have the balls to knock on a strangers door, we were prepared to find someone with a shotgun at the door and were nervous as hell all the time. And always remember to be extremely nice. I liked this video. This is how it should be. Be straight forward but nice about it. Witnesses are some of the humblest people on earth and it’s not their fault on what they are doing. It’s the Governing Body for hypnotizing them. They are under a spell so treat them kindly and just make them reason or question their beliefs, that’s it. It helped me because I was trained to reject any belief outside mines. It’s hard to wake up a witness but it can be done! Have a blessed day everyone!

This is an interesting an well documented. Great Example of the JWs not really knowing all the fact's of what is going on. An how mind control works. I was raised in an was thrown out of my house at 15 because I was the so call bad seed. I have an artist mind love music, an independent thinking for so long I was abused to sit in the kingdom Hall an listen to study it broke me to the point that I tried to communicate suicide.. at 15. Shunned from my family. I married at 16 just to have a home . He was not a JW an was a school mate he was kind an we where happy for awhile. But when you get married so young an after 15 year of marriage you realize it was a mistake. We grow apart divorced. I'm much older now . But being raised an indoctrinate in a cult. Like the witness was hard to let go of. During covid one of my relatives approach me an I tried to give it another shot. But it didn't feel right. My heart was not in it I looked up the history of JW. An boy it was crystal clear that it was not the TRUE Religion on earth. Jesus Christ is the way an only way to the glory in heaven 💕. I was a JW for most of my life until I woke up in 2018 and that scripture he mentioned in Luke and the parallel account in Matthew was always used as positive proof that we are living in the last days because after talking about wars in general it goes on to say nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom, which, according to their theology was a huge shift going from bad to worse which was then linked to WWI and WWII, the world wars being evidence that we are in the last days of the last days. Really, there have been constant wars through the millennia, so I think he was just saying there will be lots of wars which would increase in magnitude before the end, that’s it! As time as progressed and the human population has increased and the world has got more connected it makes sense that wars will go from families against families, tribe against tribe, kingdom against kingdom, empire against empire, to entire nations against nations, it’s inevitable and progressive. In other words, Jesus was saying the end is in the distant future. They all thought it was immanent and going to happen at that time. It’s true that WWI and WWII were different in scope, but there have been more wars since then, as there still are today. Who’s to say, God forbid, that there won’t be another world war. According to scripture, there will be a notable cry for peace and security first and the anti Christ will be revealed for all to see. The witnesses are right that in some aspects the world has got worse, but in other areas there have also been improvements too. The problem with the witnesses is that they have put themselves on a pedastel and tried to elevate themselves above all other faiths, making out that they alone understand the Bible and God himself for that matter, and use world events to shoe-horn their beliefs. But when you look back at their doctrinal history that they are trying so hard to hide, it’s plain to see that they are no different from other religious denominations with their erroneous narratives and false predictions. They claim to be “The Way”to get accurate knowledge and Gods approval, they claim to posses “The Truth” in their way of worship and the only path to “The Life” that Jesus promised - The Way, The Truth and The Life, (John 14:6). So they have placed themselves in the shoes of Jesus, or, put another way, they see themselves as the mediator between mankind and Jesus! My opinion is that an organized religion is not needed to gain salvation in and of itself. In many cases religions and their practices have been the cause of some people losing faith altogether. Faith in Jesus IS required, along with works that prove such faith, in other words living in harmony with Christian values to the best of our ability. Faith and works go hand in hand, works alone cannot gain salvation as shown in Ephesians 2:8,9, neither can faith alone, as seen by James. 2:14,17. That’s not to say it’s not good to fellowship together, in fact, the Bible encourages us to do that (Heb 10:25). The early Christians used to meet together in homes and even organized it with elders and ministerial servants who took the lead. But there’s a world of difference between meeting in homes and setting up an international organization. When we review the history of organized religion, and even now, we see a mingling of politics, corrupt religious leaders, land grabbing, tyranny, persecution, wars, divided families, false predictions, divisions between simple, hard working people and church hierarchy, greed, obligatory contributions, spiritual, mental, emotional and sexual abuse, forced devotion, and on and on and on. As far as I’m concerned, organized religion is a large part of our worlds problems, not the solution, including the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society. There is only one solution, simple, uncomplicated and guaranteed, - genuine faith in Jesus Christ and works that come as a by-product of that faith.

Literally, because in the thousands upon thousands of times I went door to door, I can count on one hand the number of times I encountered a dedicated defender of the Christian faith. And in those few encounters, I was never preached the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Please if you are born-again, please take the time to preach the true gospel from scripture. My old Witness self would be no match to the born-again person I am today. Glory to God. I say that in the most humble and respectful way possible. And I would only enter this area if the Witness attempted to preach a false teaching as bait. Otherwise, I would humbly preach the true gospel and leave it at that. If it is God's will, that seed will in time grow and hopefully bring them to repentance. God's will be done always. Amen.*

@Javier Ortiz, these men love to hear themselves talk. Trouble is, they did an awful lot of talking without ever telling you what they as Jehovah's Witnesses actually believe. Why? Because they know that you would be completely put off by the Watchtower teachings they have embraced as "the truth." See the following comment.

Don’t JW’s believe that the angels protect them? Why, in Lot’s case did he have to protect the angels? They’re apparently invisible creatures that help JW’s in the ministry, but in Lot’s time they were material. What made them more valuable than Lot’s daughters especially since “they needed to carry on their father’s bloodline”? Isn’t that why they got their father drunk and got pregnant 🤰 by him? Wouldn’t sex with the angels have caused Nephelim beings, likely causing the death of his daughters because of the size of the child? According to other ancient texts the mother’s belly would explode. This whole scenario is mind boggling, but because it’s in the Bible, it’s okay.

couldn't handle listening too long because it brought back memories of being forced to go to peoples doors like that, but the part I did make it through made me think about how JW and other religions never stop to notice that many of the bad things still happening are a direct result of them still existing and trying to push their thousands of years old ideas onto everyone else. If people stopped believing in these religions that would instantly stop a huge amount of the problems. (side note, all those questions they ask will go into a report about your house, they write down who lives there how many kids names if they get them, if there are dogs and so on, so I recommend not telling them anything you don't want written in a report that others might see, I'm not sure what country this was in but some countries have ban them from writing things down like that thankfully)

Literally all the things they initially mention that are bad in the world, Jesus said that those things are necessary and have always been happening, but that “the end is not yet.” I have JW friends and man it’s hard to convince them of anything even if it’s plain and obvious in Scripture. Nonetheless, I love my JW friends but I pray their eyes and hearts would be opened and changed.

I have noticed the increase in aggressive drivers who ride your rear as if to say get out of my way and other very aggressive stunts. The answer to that could be simply explained that if a population increases, you have increases in stupid and bad people ofcourse. No big mystery there. Just that simple! If the world back at any time period had the population we have today, or in the days and years gone by than that previous period would amount to about the same amount of trouble we’re experiencing. Ofcourse advancement in technology has factored in also today, but still , considering that, yours so right that actually many things have really improved. They do like all politicians do all the time by taking facts and spinning it in such a way to make their point, to fit their agenda. The facts in themselves may be true, but the real picture can be distorted and skewed by all the spinning. They have cleverly used these techniques to deceive and manipulate since they’re inception back in Russell days. It’s clear to see why they have always discouraged a college education. They know that can greatly increase the persons rationalization abilities. They call it critical thinking and it’s discouraged. The irony of course is that in life plans we do need to think critically. We don’t get second chances. Besides, that is part of the process even used in moral issues and standards. So apparently God intended for us to use it. And to prove my point, just recall what the Boreans did when Paul preached to them. They just didn’t take his words for something, they researched to prove it so to themselves. Acts 17:11. Now imagine them only researching Paul’s words, and comparing them with scripture. 😳

Javier, I wished that you gave the congregation which visited you, as that hurts the Watchtower far more than anon videos with no context. It's easy to work out in whose territory these JWs are from. I've got over 100 American discussions with JWs on zoom uploaded to my American JW playlist, as well as over 2,300 British videos in playlists by UK geographic locations.

He should be showing his bible to the home owner, not from his phone..they now use iPads at the meetings and not there bibles..IV quit attending because if that very reason...Jehovah gave us a book not a phone...

To constantly say that the "END" is imminent is not a mistake but a lie continually updated for decades and decades. It is only the fundamentalist movements that say that the "END" is imminent. The Watchtower promised my grandfather that he would not grow old in this system and that he would see heaven in his lifetime. Despite this false promise, the Watchtower persists and reiterates its promise by telling my father that he will not grow old in this system and that he will see paradise in his lifetime. After more than 140 years of false promises, this same company promises me today that I will not grow old in this system and that I will see paradise in my lifetime. Fortunately unlike in the past, today more and more JW parents are waking up and no longer want to infect their offspring with the Watchtower's false promises. Breaking the vicious circle of this transmission will allow all our beloved children to no longer be indoctrinated by this toxic propaganda which only obscures all natural aspirations of children to project themselves into the future. "The world in the year 2000, I see it transformed into a pretty paradise, I think that the current world and its leaders will not succeed in reaching this period..." Awake 11/08/86 p 8. In 1960 many JW gave up going to higher education in order to work more for the Watchtower society because the “END” was imminent. Many JWs never put money aside for retirement because they weren't supposed to age in this system. Many parents did not want to have children because the great persecution was imminent. Everything is false. This cult is a poison that transforms JWs into docile zombies in the service of a real estate company that has been in for more than 140 years.
