Fond memories of a summer job I had at Brach's. I was just a general laborer, but loved the job and the company was fun to work at. When I got hired, they had an orientation class and told us not to feel guilty about tasting the candy. There were some guys who ate a lot and got sick of it, and some of us just took a few pieces every day and enjoyed the experience.

I'd be more interested to see how the gourmet jelly beans are made, which contain natural fruit juice and use more natural colors.

I really miss “How it’s made”. Also, there’s that saying that once you’ve seen how your food is prepared, chances are, you won’t want to eat it again. It takes so much skill to film it in such a way that makes fans want to find out where the factory is and make an order. 😍 P.S. I know it’s not that different, but I’d love to see how they come up with the every flavor beans. 😍
The people who work at the Jelly Belly company are proud of their job because they get to make a beloved candy that is eaten by so many people , especially the people who make the specialty flavored beans like bean boozled and bertie botts beans cause they get to develop all of the wacky flavors.

I've worked food service jobs, and my wife has done homemade baked goods. Trust me, the more time you spend around a food, the less appealing it becomes to you.
The machine covered with corn starch that you seen was called a Mogul. Every year the machine requires a complete breakdown and every bearing is replaced because of the abrasiveness of the starch. There are hundreds of bearings and cam followers in that machine.
my grandfather would have a small bowl of these when he was alive. he recently passed, so now ive made an initiative to buy a small bag of them once a year in memory of him.

I also like how Modern Marvels talked about them too, of course those ones were created by Jelly Belly, so they include the addition of the white stamp jelly belly name, as well as their R&D department in making unique flavors... like Soap and Vomit.
