I just found you here on RU-vid. I have watched a few of your videos and today I noticed you ate sewing on a Phaff. I was happily surprised!! Most quilters here on RU-vid sew with a Juki, Baby Lock or a very expensive Bernina I sew on my Mom’s Phaff 362. It is very heavy. Mainly all metal. My father bought it for her when I was 3 and I am now 60. We have a company here in Indiana that cleans and fixes all machines. I am so lucky to have select sewing several miles from me and I am lucky to have my Mom’s Phaff. Thanks for tutorial. Your quilt is beautiful!!! I really like the quilt top you made! 💕 I am so glad you are enjoying your Phaff as well. Would you be willing to share the features of your machine here on RU-vid?
I’ve been sewing on a Pfaff for the past 18 years. I love my machines! You’re very fortunate to have your mom’s machine to use. I’m sure it holds a lot of lovely memories for you. What a gift!
@@aneedlenthread Yes it does!! I asked her to teach me how to sew and she did when I was 12-13. I still remember listening to the radio and sewing a cut top or vest on a Sat to wear to school on a Monday. She made all of my Prom, Homecoming dances for both my sister and I on this machine. God is good!! I am so grateful for such sweet memories because both my Mom and only sibling plus my Dad have passed. So now I am doing my best to honor her memory and legacy by making quilts, small bags, purses, pot holders and such for others on this machine.
