Exactly right. These songs are head and shoulders above average cartoon music. I'm only sorry they were only about a minute or long. They could've easily expanded them to full-length.
This song is my mom's favourite Jem song.She used to watch the cartoon with me when I was a kid so listening to this brings back lots of happy memories of her
You’re not wrong!!!!! It’s 1 a.m. in the morning and this song pops in my head after 30 years. Lol 😂 I remember that doll, her feet were big and Barbies shoes wouldn’t fit. I had the whole entire cast. They lived in my Barbie dream house. Lol And my parents were so sick of that tape being played over and over! After Jem... it was Mariah Carey. But, I love Jem the best now that I’m grown. Such a wholesome show! ♥️♥️♥️

My all time #1 J and H song! I taped all the episodes but I'd watch this video every single day after school over and over again so much so I didn't even know what the episode was about, lol! No kidding! As an adult I actually made myself watch the entire episode from my dvd collection, it was good obviously it's J and H but that was a long 30 minute I couldn't wait until the end just to get to this song!

I had the tape too my Sister and cousin and myself used to record ourselves over the instrumental. Hours and hours of fun were had with that tape . Wish I coukd find our recordings now be so funny to listen too haha . Still absolutely love this song and remember every word .
They should definitely release all the Jem and Holograms, Misfits, and Stingers songs on a CD before the live-action movie comes out. As long as they are unedited

to all people, that can "never understand the mainstream cult appeal of this orig. "jem & the holograms" animated tv. series". simply, i say this.. this project, just, seemed to had hit every mark. & perfectly, too! the animation, the character developement, the timely 80's fashions, these amazingly/ beautifully composed (& yet, very, simplistic) songs, the very well written scripts, that, were all tied in w. the perfect amounts of emotion. which, made you care about/ love/ really feel for all characters. & kept us, all, tuning in every week; to see more. & also, the very, latest on all of the characters. .. which, is why, the recent 'jem' "movie" was so much of a uber-ly major disappointment. bottom line: once, everything was so perfectly done. why, even, "consider" to change even the smallest detail. let alone, retool an entire script storyline?!! whoever, green lit those decisions?.. def., needed to have been, immediately, dismissed. again, infinite kudos/ endless applause to 'jem & the holograms' "orig." production team; sunbow prods., christy marx, anne bryant, barry harman. & also, an extremely, talented cast of producers, script writers, voice over actors, & singers.
"FRANKLIN FUENTES" RU-vid CHANNEL most of the show's ideas, principals and concepts are outdated and unrealistic. What character development? You could literally skip one character focused episode and it wouldn't affect the series or the characters at all.
don´t forget that weird, mocking comic, they destroyed Jem, turning her the very less liked character, changed the rest of characters too unworthy unmemorable comic

You know? This is the very first time I've listened to this version and it's so weird getting to hear the ending as it was supposed to sound, instead of with the weird glitch that was in all the DVDs and VHS tapes - where it skips a bit and you hear the Holograms' backing vocals an extra time, lapping over themselves (iykyk).
I love this show an awful lot but the one thing I never understood is that why would is that why would Jerrica want to keep her secret identity away from Rio the only guy she's ever been with pretty much her entire life. And on top of all that if she wants to keep her secret away from him doesn't it make it a little hard to do that when you also get your alter-ego to date him as well, that means some people don't assume that Jerrica and Rio are dating because they automatically see Jem and Rio dating and vice versa and yet this whole conflict in Jerrica's heart is oh no if I tell him he'll think I've been lying and deceiving him this whole time and he'll break up with me so why date him? Why date him as both women when they will just make it harder since half the time if he's not around Jerrica on dates with her he's dating Jem while she's in hiding it's really weird
And on top of that, why is Rio never seen wondering if Jerrica is jealous of him when he's with Jem? Instead we actually get to see Jerrrica herself jealous of the Jem personality which is ridiculous considering they're one and the same!
I think the same. It is unfair of her to hide her identity and let Rio fall in love with Jerrica and Jem. In fact, I think it would have been interesting to see the resolution to Rio being upset after realizing her identity.
I like to believe at 0:45 that could have been a gay couple since it wasn't easy to tell if the one on the right was male or female. Also, it's the 80s, they could only slip so much past.
