This one was quite difficult to master. The drums were way too loud compared to the rest of the instrumental, so major loudness editing was needed. The instrumental also has no 'live song' feeling anymore ;)
One day I'm going to go to a Jemcon or something and sing this in my best epic screeching soprano. It will be an epic day, but until then I finally have this track from you to listen to. :D
This is cool. Another example of you making a completely new listening experience out of an existing Jem song. The percussion really sounds crisp and different in this mix, and I'm not talking about the " drum solos ". There's a wood block or something in there I've never head before. This was one of the songs that sounded pretty good on it's own pulled right from the show with the "live" feel and such, but here you've given us the "studio" version. Well done.
I was just thinking of this song the other day. I think it sounds great even if it doesn't have a "live" feel to it. I kind of look at it like Bjork's song "There's More To Life Than This." The album version was recorded live, but I also have the studio version. Each has its own charm and compliments the other well. Same thing here. Great job, as always.
