Ok but the chorus when she’s like Ya lo sa ( I already know...that even though I cry for you you’re not coming back.) she even says I’ll always remember you. And how the hell can you make your heart understand. It’s hard to sing those words they really cut deep to someone who’s lost someone really close to them that have passed away. Her daughters singing that part of her moms song and you can just feel the pain as she starts crying for her in the chorus. The words in her songs were prophetic and were lucky she left them behind while she was still here🦋

The guy she wrote this about was her one true love, and I believe he was alot younger than her... Also in her book she said that and he was the only man who ever gave her an organism and she never smoked weed until she met him.....And he loved her too but he didn't want to follow her around like a lost puppy, he didn't want to be her manager or work for her, he wanted to be independent...I bet he regrets it now bc he really did love her. In the beginning when she says "compa Pepe" she's talking to her friend, pepe Garza the man who wrote the song and the one who started playing her music in Los Angeles Radio stations. In the Middle when she says "pinche pelón" she basically names the person she sings this song to. Fernie, AKA "el pelón" she met him in 2003 after her divorce and broke up with her in 2008 because although they loved each other, it didn't work out. In some performances she would even cry because of him while singing this song

She is class and just her own has this style she brings to every song she ever sang. Her shows nobody could do a live show like her, shes Jenni. I was with my husband's family in a pizzeria when the news of death come on the tv. I cried they asked what was wrong and I said 'we just lost a legend. ' went on to try to describe Jenni. They played clips and they acted at least like they got it. Idk if they did or not but they appeared to understand. Thankfully she's at rest and we have clips likes this to keep her alive, there's a lot. One of my favorite is the one where she walks out on an interview with El gordo y La Flaca (Spanish talk show about Latino stars in Mexico, and the u.s) she came one after this 'guest host' came on and she looked smashed and actually cut Jenni's Satilite signal (via video chat thing interview) off in mid response to something so they I guess wanted to apologise but no she wasn't having it. Viva Jenni!
