About Somi's background: She is an former JYP trainee, in 2015 she appeared in Sixteen, the reality wich formed TWICE (she is close to the girls), 2016 she participated in Produce 101 and ranked 1, she debuted in I.O.I as maknae. In 2017 they disband and she decided to moved on to THE BLACKLABEL and debuted again, now as a soloist, in 2019 with the single "Birthday". As you noticed, she appeared a lot on the TV (+her dad is a famous actor) and became one of the most popular idols in the industry (as a tv personality).
