ISLAY MANHATTAN (no, it's not a Rob Roy. That's different): -- 4 dashes angostura bitters -- 2oz Islay scotch (I like Bruichladdich Port Charlotte or Ardbeg for this) -- 1oz Sweet Vermouth -- Stir with ice, strain into a glass and garnish with a Maraschino cherry
This guy would definitely need to be covered by a defensive lineman if he plays linebacker in the NFL, like Kiki Alonso at Buffalo and Deone Bucannon at Arizona. He looks like a SS to me.
It’s insane how much you’ve taught be about football. I’ve been watching the game for 10 years but in the last year of seeing your videos I’ve began to really understanding the underlying mechanics and strategy that goes into it. Appreciate what you do immensely!
Same, him and some other NfL youtubers i started watching in the past couple years have taught me everything about the mechanics and all that. Feels good to know exactly whats goin on now
Who else? Coaches / books/ sometimes learn a few things from announces / analysts or family and friends. But since youtube we got people like this guy with very detailed and high IQ videos at your fingertips
@@RexJChan If he gives a take with an upside and downside. Does it balance out? His Devin White breakdown said hed be either "A bust or have a bust in canton."
You have no idea how pumped I am that he passed on 51 times this draft... my Browns got the only two players I wanted... and only cost them a 3rd we didn't need...
The Browns could really use Joker in the Joe Woods Def that relies heavily on versatile, coverage LBs. To add to the fact that he plays with so much intelligence and covered some of the best WRs in college last year.... He will look great in Brown N Orange
When they talk about 'positionless football' for years to come, don't be surprised if 'Joker' is the name of the LB-DB Hybrid after they see what this guy can do
I mean Eventually It'll go to something like that but ATM there SLOWLY evolving to more coverage LBs...I mean Jabrill Peppers came out in what 2017 and he's still not utilized
If he wants to keep his speed and add enough weight to battle linemen and other freaks of nature like Henry or Metcalfe when need be he'll need lots of conditioning to be able to make those tackles in the NFL, but a great football mind gets you far combined with great work ethic.
Your drink intros are so fucking dope. Not just cause they’re aesthetically pleasing and gangster as fuck, but the fact that you’re promoting something you enjoy instead of some dumb ad promo is really cool!
JOK reminds me of Isaiah Simmons coming out, obviously Simmons had way more versatility but they both had great speed to shoot gaps and runs and then the next play they could go and run 30 yards downfield stride for stride with a receiver, Micah Parsons reminds me of Devin White, not the best instincts or coverage but great athleticism and if coached up well could be superstars
Can this guy shed blocks against offensive linemen? I'm always cautious of these hybrid line backers. They have coverage skills and the speed to shoot open gags in the DL. But if he can't take on blockers in the run game he will be a liability
@@mansamusa1466 It’s a nit pick u draft JOK because he can play in the slot and still tackle like a linebacker keep him free don’t put him in position to consistently take on blocks
@@Nazim909 But that's the problem,if hes playing lb there will be times where he has to take on blocks. What if they are playing a run heavy team like the Titans or Vikings ? He's not going to be able to shed blocks or make tackles on the 2nd level against big rb's . It can cost you a game, he's really a strong safety playing lb. Same problem with justin Simmons last year.
@@mansamusa1466 nope he’s a linebacker who can play SS go watch the tape no he’s not the best with dealing with blocks most linebackers aren’t Fred Warner and Darius Leonard aren’t great with blocks either but if u keep them clean they can do everything a traditional linebacker can do and more and Isiah Simmons has the size but he doesn’t deal with block because he didn’t play linebacker he had linebacker size but he was a safety
Micah Parsons is so valuable because he’s a better pass rusher than you’ll find in 5 years worth of off the ball linebacker prospects. Pass rush wins more than coverage.
Knew soon as the Browns moved up, who we were getting. We actually are getting the best available player, finally. One of the front office was upset they didn't take Jok with the first pick, bet he's happy now though lol
I'm a huge Penn State fan but this was as always an excellent breakdown of a prospect but I would still take Parsons just off potential alone. Definitely would be thrilled if my team *Carolina Panthers* took Owusu-koramoah because of this great scouting report. Awesome work as always dude, I hope you make a video about Parsons for us as well.
I would say “why are you posting this in the middle of the night” and then I remembered this is a linebacker video and every linebacker I know is an bat shit crazy insomniac
Welcome to Cleveland JOK!! I think he fits with us in our Joe Woods proposed 4-2-5 defense. He'll be considered one of "the five" with Harrison, Delpit, and John Johnson.
His strip pitch on Clemson is honestly one of the best plays I’ve ever seen from a lb and knowing his process he had to run through while doing it makes it that more insane
New England would definitely be a good fit for Owosu-Koramoah's skillset. They have a need for fast linebackers and are in the right pick range for JOK. prosportsoutlook.com/pso-scouting-report-lb-s-jeremiah-osusu-koramoah-notre-dame/
Been loving your channel ever since your landon collins episode (throwback to when he was a dpoy caliber safety). Only thing I would ask is that in your episodes you touch on their weaknesses a little bit more. Still the best football breakdown on RU-vid tho
@@truckingwkb4532 honestly I don't get it either. Especially for teams picking from like 25-32 it's an easy steal. Now someone's gonna steal him round 2.
Yesssssss this is what I’ve been needing. Super excited for the draft content but are you going to do any free agency previews? Or some type of free agency videos
Man Brett thank you for your hard work on your videos they bring me a little happiness when I see you upload from t to be music, the drink drank 😂 your football iq it’s all amazing
yes gimmie this Parsons tape study. Honestly I respect you opinion so much. You could toss out the most random statement and I would still listen. lmao
@@aarondepitts9572 Campbell on paper seems like the better corner because he’s slightly taller and faster but if u watch the film for a fast guy he got beat a lot especially he gave up more yards in 1 game the stokes did all year
Brett what happened to the old intense intro? I like the warning to never be a Texans fan at the start of every video I'm just wondering. Also get some rest
Really hope my team (The Broncos) go after this guy in the draft, that is if he’s available after all. Man this guy is fun to watch can’t wait till he’s making plays on Sunday
I'm worried he might be a Isiah Simmons remember how long it tooki him to get adjusted to being a Lb in the NFL. I think JOK needs to gain a little more weight in order to be a Lb in the NFL
A bit different imo. JOK's position is a bit more regimented than Simmons was at Clemson, so he got a lot more traditional LB reps than Isaiah did. I think he'll hit the ground running.
And simmons was really hurt by lack of reps (no preseason games and good players at the same position). He showed a lot of promise, a simmons clone is still a great prospect
I disagree! Look at Zach Cunningham! He was only 220 lbs. coming out of Vanderbilt. Btw, I was VERY high on him, as a prospect. He gained 18 additional lbs. and is 238 lbs. Of course, he's doing what he did in college, thus earning him an extension with the Texans.
