If ypu photograph in color, you show the color of you clothes, and if you shoot in black and white, you show the color of your soul. " When you photograph a face...you are photographing the soul behind it"(Jean-Luc Godard) "Photographs are open doors to the past, but they offer a glimpse into the future"( Saly Mann) A good photo stops fleeting moment. The photograph captured a moment in life, and that jiff will life forever. Always when I look at Jeremy's photographs, it seems to me that I have touched Eternity❤ Beautiful moments of eternity that are not destined to be repeated...

My dear viewers, I will ask you for a little attention. Unfortunately, lately I have seen that the number of viewers of videos about Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett has sharply decreased. I can only guess at the reasons for the decline in interest my videos dedicated to Jeremy. I won't list them. On a personal note, I wluld like to add that I do not have the techical capabilities or special programs to produce complex videos. I appeal to my regulal viewers and those who found my channel for the first time. Please take a moment to likevafter watching any video. Please subscribe to my channel if you like my work. I will be very grateful to you for this. Because I understand that if viewers have lost interest in my previous videos, then there is no point in releasing others. I will post this comment under several of my other videos. Thank you very much for your attention.

The more you give us vids in Black & White, the more I find that there's a true magic in it ! I don't know where it comes from and I wonder why we, amateur photographers, abandoned it so easily for the profit of colour. You did very well in adding the quotes on this topic : they come close to explaining the mystery without, in my opinion, completely unraveling it, and it's well the way it is. I definitely like the way you rework the photos and I cant get enough of it : I endlessly find that this process highlights Jeremy's gaze and expressions, that it is able to reveal something that the photos are helpless to show. Sometimes the original photo and the same reworked one give a completely different effect (to my eyes at least), which I almost find contradictory to eachother in some cases ; It's very strange and really very enriching for the viewer, for we can believe that were are discovering rarely shown picture whereas we already saw it multiple times. And, as Anne said, the music is very well chosen. From a superficial perspective, the whole video could give a general sense of sadness, of a certain despair (only one word in English for both "désespérance" and "désespoir". In French, I would say "désespérance", i. e a kind of vague loss of hope / faith in the future ; "désespoir" sugests that one doesn't see any outcome at all anymore, which doesn't suits me here). Yet, I find the video very soothing, calming reassuring : what emerges from it at the end is a kind of sweetness and above all a wonderful feeling of tender closeness to Jeremy. Everything I need[ed] these days, as if you were a kind of psychic, reading in my mind and healing me from afar, Dear perceptive and precious friend Ksenia !

Dear Charlotte, your comment is invaluable to me. You have a unique ability to feel all the experiences, all the feelings that I put into my videos. This video is no exception. You very subtly noted that certain editing of Jeremy's black and while photographs gives clarity to his facial features, deepens his gaze, his smile. It's hard for me to name this editing effect in English. Our dear Ann yesterday wrote me a very good name for the perception of a similar worldview - "gravity". You got the right feeling, I didn't make this video to be sad. I didn't limit myself to a simple video collage with a black and white photos of Jeremy. To emphasize the atmosphere of light and soaring, I added photos of soaring seaguls, sails, clouds, and foaming sea. "There is no need to lose hope. When all is lost, there is hope. You must always believe in something"(Ray Bradbury) ."..our long life is just a collection of many small lives, each one day long. And every day you need to live in love and beauty, admiring flowers and birds, enjoying poetry. A day spent in conversation, when you can admire the sunset and feel the coolness of the wind, cannot be called lost. Sunset is just an illusion, the sun still illuminates the earth, even if it has disappeared beyond the horizon. This means that day and night are inextricably linked, they do not exist without each other, but they will never be able to meet. I wonder what it's like to be together all the time and yet apart"(Nicholas Spark "The Notebook".Jeremy left this life many years ago. But the heavenly light of his soul is invisibly present with us. His talent was as natural as the pattern of pollen on a butterfly's wings.

Dear Charlotte, I will add my thoughts in this comment. "Let me photograph you in this light, In case it is the last time That we might be exactly like we were...( translation of song lines Adele When We Were Young) When I see the portraits of our beloved Jeremy, I want to exclaim: "King...you face is so close...don't be so sad...Your cloak is the color of lavender...like a beautiful purple sunset"(( Satsuna Mayo. I really like the famous poem Christina Georgina Rosetti (1830-1894) Let me remind you of the last lines of the poem: "But if you forget, don"t blame yourself, And when you remember a little later, don't be sad. After all, if, having told you I'm sorry, I disappear forever into the unsteady distance. Then it's better to forget and smile. Than to remember, filled with sadness".(interlinear translation). Of course, it is better to read this verse entirely in the original. Dear Charlotte, your words about friendship are very valuable to me. You and Ann are my most understanding and most heart friends. You spiritual support helps me a lot in everyday life inspires me to create new videos💝💝💝

@@JoanJeremy95 😊 ! "This means that day and night are inextricably linked, they do not exist without each other, but they will never be able to meet." This immediately reminded me the chorus of a song, very famous in France, written by Charles Trenet in 1939. To better appreciate it, one has to know that, in French, "sun" (le soleil) is a masculine gender noun and "moon" (la lune) a feminine gender one. ru-vid.comUgkxov19mYYBxoUd7Y2NRy27RMZl4B-S65yJ?si=R49xIl9q0M-3Cfg_ Le soleil a rendez-vous avec la lune > The sun has a date with the moon Mais la lune n'est pas là et le soleil attend > But the moon is not there and the sun is awaiting Ici-bas souvent chacun pour sa chacune > Down here often each one [male] for his own one [female] Chacun doit en faire autant > Each one has to do the same La lune est là, la lune est là > The moon is here, the moon is here La lune est là, mais le soleil ne la voit pas > The moon is there, but the sun doesn't see it Pour la trouver, il faut la nuit > To find it, night is needed Il faut la nuit mais le soleil ne le sait pas et toujours luit > Night is needed but the sun doesn't not know it and still is shining Le soleil a rendez-vous avec la lune > The sun has a date with the moon Mais la lune n'est pas là et le soleil attend > But the moon is not here and the sun is awaiting Papa dit qu'il a vu ça lui > Dad says HE saw that

@@charlottevairet3453 Thanks for the interesting information. In Russian the word sun is neuter. Each language has its own linguistic features. I liked this funny French song about the moon and sun. Special thanks for translating it. In Japanese mythology, there is a legend about the love between the sun goddess Amaterasu and her brother Susanoo. They were separated after Susanoo stole fire from shrine and threw it into the sea. Because of his action, the sun goddess was very upset and decided not to leave her sanctuary. This led to chaos and darkness on earth. Eventually, Amaterasu forgave him and agreed to leave the shrine in Susanoo built a bridge that would connect earth and sky. Susanoo completed this task, and from then on Amaterasu became the sun goddess. It's so surprising that our correspondence touched on such unusual, diverse topics. I think His seductive power was that .He was someone who loved what he did, and it showed. He brought any of his roles to unsurpassed perfection. Jeremy Brett didn't play Sherlock Holmes, he became one for 10 years... I would like to end my thoughts with my favorite passage from the book Augusto Cury "Dream Seller: " I'm not asking you to soften your pain, I'm calling you to soften your despair. I don't expect you to hold back your tears, but I do expect you to hold back your bouts of sadness. Melancholy does not completely go away, but despair can and must be overcome, since it does not honor the deceased. - When, I die, don't despair. Do me the honors. Tell me about my dreams, tell me about the stupid things I did".
