This annoys me... he knows the effects of gambling addiction personally and seen other have the same problem but still the show he makes his living off is sponsored by foxy bloody bingo! Along with other gambling companies over the years.... they are paid to advertise gambling ur money away so all the bored housewives who watch the show the first thing they see is how great gambling is.... little hypocritical if u ask me
teapea85 its right en it.... id love to meet him coz i would say it to his face.... and now his wife has been outed as a cheat he is up shit street coz if he forgives her and takes her bk he is gona b an even bigger hypocrite..
He is the show! if he said that he was not gona participate in the advertising of gambling they would HAVE to listen.. without jezza there is no jeremy kyle... garentee he didnt even try and make a stand.... he is a hypocrite in my book
Gambling is the worst addiction without a doubt, ive seen it first hand. It may not appear as bad on the outside as an alcoholic, heroin or crack addict. But trust me, gambling is the worst. Without money how can you live. Its the worst feeling ever when you have no money. If your an alcoholic or heroin / crack addict then its the drug itself thats the addiction and as long as you can get hold of it, it doesn't matter how much it is as long as you can get a little fix. Gambling is an addiction within the mind, fantasising about dreams houses and cars and being able to buy anything you want and live the high life BUT in reality... ITS NEVER GOING TO FUCKING HAPPEN. Stay away from those leeches. Remember, without the vulnerable people, the casino / bookmakers would never make any money.
I know this is an old video and I dont know if anyone will read this, but if you do I have a sneaky feeling you may be on hard times yourself. I promise you, yes you, that it will get better. I am in a bad place myself.. BUT i am slowly crawling out of it. I have quite a bit of debt but that's just money it will be gone eventually. Why do we gamble? It's because we love the rush. Yes we love the win but if that was the reason why do we put the winnings back in? We want to be in charge, we want to beat their system. So how do you stop? Whether you dont think your problem is the biggest or what, your problem is not comparable to ANYONE else's. Your problem is the biggest problem in your world so I advise these steps. Gamblers anonymous, but if you dont feel like you want to then wait a few weeks. But it's a good step and it's a safe environment. Counciling is also good. In the UK you will find many FREE councillors who are incredible. Find them, no one will do your hard work for you. If you give a little step to find them they will be a huge help. Self exclude both in shops and online. There are websites like gamstop and gamcare and similar. If you cant go in or go online you cannot gamble. Speak to close friends and family, you will be surprised who will support you. And remember they may not support your choices, but they will support you especially for coming to them for that support. Do not fall further into what you may already be in. The only way out is to stop.
34maddogiffy exactly. A better man to watch regarding this is harry findley, hes been around the gambling scene for decades, betting on horses, football, dogs etc etc. Kyle talks the usual pish in regards to gambling, "betting on it snowing in trafalgar squere" compulsive gamblers dont bet on that sort of shit 😂.
I Played ( Electronic and Real).. Roulette in Usa,Canada,Portugal,Spain and Germany.......I can tell, that those machines are Magnetic.......I played 25 to 30 numbers,,,,even i Loose...Clever machines with Advanced Software.THE Famous Black Jack...If the People buy cards and play this game in they own home..they will note, that is a Fuckin Ruin....always high cards for the Bank...I saw people losing thousands ,Cars,,,Houses...Relations and TIME.!!!!!!.........And than the \croupiers and the Managers,,,,,,,,Laughing and Making fun of Us......Casinos and Online Games should be banned like the Drugs..................
From personal experience gambling never pays, even if you win you will find you will spend the money faster than you won it. People end up in a nasty place with money problems and stress. I found that I became hooked due to stress at work and family life was not good. I have now set up a company to help people re build there credit score as I had to do this myself...
well just lost my wages and half my rent, sick thing is first 20 pounds i got upto 800 pounds but it didnt even phase me i looked an thought ooo close to a thousand then lost then put in another 40 to get back up i only got to 200 but then played back and forth loosing and reclimbing untill ive almost lost everything .gambling is a sick addiction half the time i dont even care about winning or loosing just the playing the feeling of beating the system and of course greed how much is enough who knows?i dont.i need to beat this addiction its (im) ruining my life my family my job and my home.
Damn man im going through the same shit, its sad to work hard and put it the hours and then blow it all in one night. Almost lost my job from being depressed and not turning up to work. I keep promising my poor kids I will buy them new stuff, but my selfish ways and poor decision's lead me to gambling. Hopefully we can overcome this shit and good for our families, God bless..
+Green Hornet okay so best move I've made so far,I've been trying to stop going to the bookies shops on and offline!1st ban all online accounts don't lie to urself ALL OF THEM, when you go to work take a packed lunch and drink leave your wallet at home no cash nothing!download a few android crappy slots games free ones to fight that urge!when you feel the need play the slots game for free or avoid going near a bookies for 2 weeks find other interests fishing or download kodi to watch TV series and movies for free this has helped me massive I've not spent 1 penny of real money since I've posted here and you know what... i get more time playing with my kid who doesn't care about Clarke shoes or gap hoodies!he just wants to be played with and loved.think you can't do it?remember you favourite childhood toy?what was the first one that came to mind?cuddley bear or something cost total of about 20 quid maximum.you don't need loads of money to be a good dad you just need to save for the special times you want now the mini breaks ect what 4 weeks wait?how often when you lose do you go away?see my point dont be sucked in by easy fast money.spend a good day in or down the park with your kids or on the river or fishing a walk don't cost alot.but just remember that when you lose you feel like total shit and that's unfair on yourself and your kids!you wanna do something for them don't chase a poormans dream live the dream and be the best and do the best you can then you can say when your old you done the best by your kids you could.if you wanna talk please don't hesitate il try and respond ASAP all the best.
+iwantit162 Thanks heaps buddy! yeah been staying away from slots lately, its hard but reading some of the peoples stories have helped heaps. Took my kids out for lunch at the park in the weekend gone, had a really good time my kids loved it. Putting my family first and planning to go out every weekend thanks for the great advice buddy have a good day..
Green Hornet hope it helps its working well for me personally,i had a big urge to gamble today after doing overtime at work ,i thought its only a tenner it will be fine as i got closer to the bookies i thought hang on little ones at home waiting for me so i turned off and headed home.i didnt even make it to the bookies HAHA thats money in my pocket not mr ladbrokes sorry mr bookies looks like you will have to cut down your champane this xmas no more money from me :-p
You were up £800. Please tell me you are a financially stable person that £800 isn't the end of the world. I'm a professional gambler myself (made thousands betting) however 99% of gamblers will lose out at the end. Yes you might be up £400 one day but in the long term, you'll never beat the bookie. Best thing to do is stop while you can
Cuts her off on every question like a narcissist. Then compares alcoholism and drug addiction to gambling? They're equally severe I admit, but in no way comparable.
this is for the non gamblers never gamble drunk, 1st time i entered a casino i was bladdered, lost 300 never again, im just glad they do that cool down thing, i work on the rigs and prob would have blown a months wages
If every drop of water in the oceans & every tree on the planet turn into money, there aren't enough for 1 gambler alone... Wish i only lost money, but much more things i cannot replace and only wish the clock can turn back before i started gambling It's never ever too late to stop and the sooner you stop the sonner you can start moving forward in life I strongly suggest Gambling education to be introduced at schools just like sex educaion, it will minimize the damage to our future generations
yeah, true words mate. if there ain't a pub on the corner you can BET your left nut there'll be a bookies, and the two go hand-in-hand! in fact, in my town, a pub closed down and a Ladbrokes took it's place!!!...just goes to show how this system is designed to trap people in a never-ending spiral :(
complete idiot!!! i have a great job thanks where i work my bollocks off and gamble with my savings, yes too much and shudnt play the fruities and waste too much but have still managed to pay my mortgage of at 43, own a jetski and a bmw 335d for weekends and an astra for work/jetskiing so not all gamblers dont work just cant resist the buzz of winning.
He's not even able to listen.to.her keep cutting in Mr know it all and losing put that's.he's.choice he's.a investee n always have been.n.horse owner n still
They are looking to regulate it,, these people dont give a fuck if we're addicted, its all about taxing the game so they make more money from it. They want control over the gambling industry.
F.o.b.ts..Fixed Odds Rip Off Terminals..If You Must Play..Use What You Can Afford To lose..If You Cant Afford It..Don't Get Involved.. They'll Literally Eat You Alive.. It's Happened To Me Because I Played Too Often..With Funds I Couldnt Afford..And The Bookies Couldnt Care Less
I think you can be addicted to anything really cars bikes drinking drugs alcohol everything. I'm addicted to bike's and model car's in the past I've had 3 push bike's at the same time some addictions are worse than others.
Yeah Jeremy gambles but the difference is he knows moderation. Otherwise we wouldnt be seeing him in the Jeremy Kyle show i mean it could be hosted by simon cowell. Jeremy back then was very irrisponsible thats for sure, but if you want to gamble just do it in moderation. its like drinking, you dont need to give up the booze but just set the bottle down then and there, be responsible about it. when you see Jeremy helping gambling addicts hes not trying to be hypocritical, hes trying to make sure that they fix their mistakes sooner. hes trying to make them see the light because Jeremy knows exactly what its like to be stuck down under and he doesnt want them to fall down that path.
why does he have that look in his body langauge and demeanor that he is selling the concept of understanding and give his view on people like he's a guru but yet still giving the vibe that its your problem for u to solve, vwhich is fine, but dont open pandora's box if your not honest to help others. he seems so selfish. which is fine tto self preservation and all that but at the same time no cos he's making money off the people with these problems.
The Government, The Premier League & Sky sports should be locked up for allowing blanket gambling advertising on T.V., Football team's shirts, Stadiums, Internet & the High streets.
it's a horrible addiction. say giving up smoking or drink....you don't bring it in the house so its easier. you avoid going to the pub, etc or being with those who smoke around u n that. with gambling you can do it online. therefore anywhere there is internet or any time you are online is a temptation. this is the problem.
I believe the only way to paradise is through Jesus Christ Fezan78. Sinners are in all races and religions. Jesus died for your sins so that you can go to heaven. From the book of revelation it is clear we are in end times. The prophecies of Malachy, mark of the beast and the antichrist return. Look at devil worship in the music industry. Bob Dylan is clear that he sold his soul and who he sold it to. Keep an open mind and knowledge will enter.
yes i agree, but you don't seem to understand addiction!! drug-addicts can't simply stop - just like hardcore gamblers can't stop gambling...they need help for their addiction!!
Dubious statistics quoted - typical british person spends £3.60 per month on gambling (actual figure is over £18 per month). £2.58 on fruit really? that's the equivalent of one orange per week! hmmm.
yeah? ok, i'm not debating that! I was simply talking about ALL addiction (not just gambling) which is trapping people!! It's also the thrill involved. "These muppets pay my wages, So I don't care!"......spoken like a true drug-pusher!!!
The bookies have charts in their offices. The roulette table having that 0 puts the odds slightly in their favour. It's like flicking a coin. So that for every time you win they give you a £0.99. Everytime they win you give them £1.00. That 1 percent in their favour. Over years no-one wins.
Gambling is a horrible place to get into especially buying scratch cards but it takes times it take a phone call from a friend to talk bout ur addiction I've been through it not nice but I'm in a better place than I was few years ago thank God
you can never explain to a non gambler the sheer buzz you get of getting a good win. sometimes i used to win more in 90 minutes that most British people would earn working in an entire month. it's this buzz which keeps you addicted. At my peak i was spending around 1000 pounds a month. sometimes losing, sometimes winning....
iv got controversial ideas on this subject lets start by dropping the word gambling i believe gambling is one of many triggers for a wider addiction. i also believe you cannot change when the addictive mode is switched on. i have personal experience of uncontrollable addiction that shows its ugly face in many forms. ie ocd or even the urge to steal. i really believe we have to stop isolating addiction to one thing and dig deeper to find this overwhelming trigger.
when you're a recovering gambling addict, as in someone who regularly, on a weekly basis, goes to Gamblers Anonymous meetings and works with an Addiction Counslor/Therapist, of course you'll admit to the problem. the problem is that most gambling addicts don't take that first step. but there are many gamblers who have long ago admitted the problem and are working through it
Being addicted to gambling is the only addiction I don't understand, I could bet and bet and bet and I'd find it just as exciting as gambling addicts. I just don't. In my opinion gambling addicts are just selfish, you know your spending your family's money, holiday money etc. but you continue to do it because you think you will win. Your body doesn't NEED to be sat in the bookys, you *choose* to go and if you didn't go, guess what? Fuck all would happen. All that would happen is you'd have money in your pocket that you would have pissed up the wall had you had your own way.
