@@RG_Old_mate Arguably easier to upshift while leaned over accelerating out of a left hand corner. Regular shift means the boot is a lot closer to the ground / less clearance in this case.
Mas Guns moto2/moto3 aj bro yg pke quickshifter/blipper. Motogp udh pake seamless gearbox. Itu teknologi berbeda. Ada tuh videonya di channel motogp. Jdi ga mungkin digabungin.haha
I thought the Upward transmission suppose to be going up instead of going down You cant afford to miss the downward transmission on a corner for the engine brake right?
I notice that the choice of gear is quite different from Miller, who touches the 4th between 4 and 5 and Petrux goes down to 1st at 13 and never uses the 6th.
Yes all of them start in 2nd gear.....cause you cannot accelerate in the paddock....which the bike does in 1st gear...hence they start smoothly in 2nd gear.
nope..gp bike using the different shift gear, all rider start from pitlane with 1st gear with pitlane speed limiter, and the bike slowly down...1st gear to 6th gear all downshift, this bike using seamless gearbox
I think that's the rider shifting his weight for the corner while changing gears, and doing both actions at the same time makes the rider hold on to the lever longer. Just my thoughts.
GP shifts are down for higher gears, up for lower.. easier to shift up before/in a corner and you can drop a couple gears at a time slowing down on a straight before you enter one
Moto gp does not have neutral betwen first and second Gear??? Whit inverted gear lever he puts first down like a convencional lever to get out off boxes
Can somebody explain please? I thaught that shifting on a track bike is the opposite of a standard street bike, so 1up 5 down. This is easier when shifting up in an exit. But you see Danilo pushes down to put in first and then the rest is also down????
I thought, downshift will decrease gear and upshift will increase gear. Looks like it is reverse here. He is upshifting for decreasing the gear and downshifting for increasing the gear. Am I right?
on the race bike is reversed 1st is up 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. are down. and the nutral is before 1st. They made a starndart in the mid 70s / 80s thet first is down others are up. But some older bikes like my moto guzzi 250 ts has got the reverse gearbox. Or a peugeot 55gl har the rear brake where the gear lever usaly is.
@Ray Davison You mean with N between 1st and 2nd and down for up? Maybe some race bikes are like this but on high end MotoGP N is at the bottom, but some riders prefer to click up for up in MotoGP. And you can't accidentally go into neutral either without first having to push a button similar to some race cars. {or perhaps you meant} - You can also change a road bike gearbox to down for up in 5 minutes just by rotating the linkage which connects directly to the gearbox by 180 degrees.
@@budakjalanan9139 y tergantung rpmnya, kalo rpm mesin di redline terus turun 3 gigi y mesinnya bakal over limit. Itu d moto gp kenapa bisa turun 3 gigi sekaligus karena ngeremnya juga kenceng Sulis sih kalo jelasin lewat kata2
In most modern street bikes you can flip the gear shifter so pushing down on the shifter means shifting up in gears and up on the shifter is down in gears.
Its so they can shift up mid corner, because its harder to have to get your foot under the shifter, especially on a left hander where they would be little clearance under the shift lever.
@@hasahchan4775OK in 1st harry but you are wrong about neutral because the gearbox is mandatory the it during 4 firsts seconds. It is at extreme upstep and 1st to 6th gears are downstep.
Emang gitu kalo motoGp, dan dibanyak motor balap juga sama, karna lebih makan waktu kalo buat balap tapi gear shiftnya kaya motor normal, alasan ke2 karna kalo cornering kekiri terus harus accelerasi bakal susah pindah gigi kalo harus nyongkel keatas karna posisi kaki sama aspal mepet, dll
