Verona used to be hot for stripers. After a few drought years, not so much. With no water flow, fewer stripers make it to Colusa, spawning in the Walnut Grove to Freeport area. To make things worse, the Verona Marina was bought out by the Thunder Valley Casino, and they don't dredge the boat ramp. It's almost impossible to launch there. Slow trolling jumbo minnows is my bait of choice for stripers. 😎🎣📹👍
Thanks! Oh man, I've bought plenty of these to try last yr. But never had any luck. I've seen ppl catch striper with it though. I've only caught a couple of black bass with it.
😂thanks! Hate fishing next to a bunch of ppl. I usual just find a spot by myself. Honestly, you can catch fish anywhere along the rocky areas. Not sure why everyone piled up.😂

@@sofakingraw4149 yes. Bite slows down quite a bit after 9am. So get there right before sun comes up if you plan on going! 😂. Mornings is best especially on high tide. Evenings are ok too. Another week and it should fire up even more.
