For a rhythm game the songs sure are off-beat.

This was around the time that the first rhythm games were released, so it makes sense Parappa the Rapper (1996) Beatmania (1997) A bunch of other Bemani games, including DDR (1998/1999) Bust a Groove (1998) Beatmania got timing decently right, and so did the other bemani games, but rhythm games weren't a dime a dozen at the time

Works well on the PS1 but PS2 speeds up the disc for faster loading times, which messes with the song tempo on games where you can listen to the music seperately

@@greenhowie ah yeah, this is an issue with other rhythm games on PS1/ps2, and trying to emulate (pop'n music and beatmania IIDX are the ones I know of)
