It’s funny how Jerma thinks that aliens would be able to manage interstellar travel without developing fire or image technology. They land in their advanced space bending ships but their heads explode when you show them a calendar on a fridge
Well, devil's advocate (although he doesn't need anymore, Jerma already has enough lawyers), an interstellar being could be outside our understanding of the universe, and us outside theirs. Although I'm not sure that's what he was thinking, I'm not inside his head. Thank the gods for that, and that alone.
To be fair if aliens saw us they'd probably be incredibly offput by how many of us would want to have sex with them (I personally wouldn't say no if they asked if I wanted to be a permanent volunteer at one of their Quick Relief Stations)
Jerma thinks it's kerbal space program where a bunch of aliens were plopped into the middle of nowhere and the first thing they do is gather dirt and pebbles and try to reach orbit
This comment is in relation to the fact that probably more than half of all people who were toddlers when volume-controlled devices were a thing impulsively turned the volume way up to ear blastingly loud levels for absolutely no reason at all.
The perfect coaster game for Jeremy: where it literally doesn’t matter how insane your coaster is and crashing random passengers into the dirt is a built in goal
love how jerma’s aliens came to earth without any kind of metallurgy or ability make visual or audio recordings and have appointments without calendars to keep track of said appointments
Him calling the sign for pound "euro" is either top tier intentional comedy or he's actually that stupid and I don't know which scenario would be funnier.
Bro your the fucking best its like your reading my mind. All my fav underrated streams I want to rewatch but don't exactly want to watch the full thing over again. And then the cheltie/2ndjerma is too vague and missed momen5s and I pray skye4 has done it and they rarely do the ones I'm thinking about it so I'm left in like this awkward place. But then you always do it which is honestly great. I think it's cause you do the underrated ones and they fly under the radar just like the Thief Gold one and many others
God, this game brings me so much nostalgia, I played this when I was just a little kid, didn't understand anything, I remember playing the sparkle island games and having a blast. Going to have to revisit this in the future!
Holy shit I genuinely remembered sparkle island 2 and couldn’t for the life of me recall where I played it. The sounds, visuals, and layout gave me so much nostalgia.
Seeing this pop up in my recommended just reminded me that I spent DAYS playing this game, this just unlocked so many memories for me, I had this game for the Xbox 360
Oh hell yeah, Jerma just happening to play one of my favorite games ever "UNIT JUST WANTS TO BE FRIENDS WITH CREEPY HUMAN" 36:39 This is one of the most genuine laughts I've heard out of Jerma
I genuinely love Jerma's alien rant so fucking much. "What if aliens aren't more advanced than us" is such an important discussion that is almost never had.
i remember "playing" this game. playing is in quotes because i just went round talking to people and going on rides. i had no idea how to do anything else.
I feel like too many modern game developers care too much about adding objectives and numbers and statistics and resources to fun kiddy games, when in reality the only thing that matters is that you can go anywhere after a 10 minute tutorial.
We all know he tokes on a ciggy as a palate cleanser in-between bong rips (before you ask, it's fentanyl. Yes, he knows. He got it from the drug dealer he ate before stream started) absolute maniac.
Going from a Wired interview with a structural engineer to this video really put into perspective how effortlessly Jerma manages to convert the world around him into a playground for unfettered chaos. Great edit!
fairly new viewer here, been watching VODs and comps for just a couple months, I'm so gullible I genuinely believed for like 15 straight minutes Jerma had never face revealed until 2022. i can't believe it took me that long to remember dork cube
I am used to watching vods to sleep and I am a huge jerma fan so I decided its been a few months since I watched a vod and I click on the video and was delightfully reminded this is jerma
I'm not a psychologist, but I think the reason Jerma got so giddy with philosophy towards the end, is that he secretly hates streaming. And realizing he was almost finished made him excited.
That's a decent theory, like he outwardly tells himself he likes it and has convinced himself he likes it but deep down it's work and he doesn't like 'going to work' like most normal human beings. Makes sense and it would actually be weirder if jerma didn't think this way.
this shit feels weird af. i remember playing this on my uncles xbox 360 like 12 years ago. im pretty sure i also played using the "eden" model, and the ko robots game was all i cared about.
I remember playing thrillville at a friend's house, begging my mom almost every day for it, being told no because it was rated T and I was only 10, finally getting it after several months of persistence, playing it for like, a week, then completely losing all interest.
also, to anyone who really likes thinking about aliens in the way jerma does here, i highly, HIGHLY recommend the book "Project Hail Mary" by Andy Weir, the author of the martian. it has one of the most interesting takes on what communication between an alien and a human would entail.
One of these days Jerma will announce that he retired to start an actual amusement park. It’s a shame no one will survive the fucked up contraptions he devises.
What you mentioned at the beginning of the stream could be Alice in wonderland syndrome. I have it. it doesn't really do anything. Just feels like my eyes are kind of in the back of my head and everything is getting far away or closer
You have think about this. Do we even know what aliens are usually around. For all we know they could exist on a planet that’s so cluttered with buildings that nature itself hardly exists. So who knows Maybe they would be amazed by something as simple as a geode.
No bro the way u conceptualize aliens is senile. Ur prolly unable to picture anything other than little green man in a Star wars spaceship. Ur clearly not even thinking about interdimensional aliens, or perhaps aliens come from a lower definition reality (2d reality) that is less VISUALLY complex than ours. Maybe they have biological reality shifting abilities or something but it's a trade off for living in a world without advanced crystal formations. Basically im schizophrenic but think about it, the possibilities with aliens are infinite 😅
4:18 you might've missed it, but he said that he "thought the euro symbol was a cryptocurrency", if everyone at home has been paying attention then by now I hope you all have realized that Jerma985, in fact, does not believe that Europe is a real continent
I can't tell if these are bot comments because of the usernames, profile pictures and content of the comments. Or if they're just average sanity jerma viewers.
