Never understood why people hate on Bow. He was big back in the day and had success and is still going and living his life. He's always rapped to the ladies and I've never really heard him rap about violence. He stays true to himself as an artist. People forget the hits he had like Outta my system, let me hold you, like you, bounce with me, shortie like mine, fresh azimiz, my baby, take ya home, that's my name. He was introduced to fame at a very young age and hasn't lost his mind yet like some child stars do lol. He has his head on straight.
Essence Dorsett Because he hasn't made music in a while. People used to bump Chingy and people clown him. People were even clowning Ludacris with this last album. It seems like people only clown people because it's the popular thing to do. Bow Wow has kept a clean nose for his whole career. Besides the child support stuff, we don't hear any negative news about him.There's no reason to clown him, but people still do.
Yeah JD & Bow Wow were a dynamite team back in the early 2000's but now they're just legends in my book. They need to do something else because the music industry right now does not fit them at all. Their classics shits on the new music (if it is music anyway) today. You guys are legends and that's the way it should be. Stay out of the spotlight and just be remembered by your classics. dantes marque no I mean artist that were established that time period even though bow wow started getting big in 1999 he wasn't at his height of his career or skills. So basically what I should've said is that for all the guys who were at there best in the 2000's and were established in the 2000's he is one of at least the 25. I remember hearing big boy's commentary on street hoops when I was like 6, and he always had me rollin'. I love that after all this time he's still one of the funniest dudes I've ever heard.
Bow wow signing to Cash Money was his biggest mistake of his career! All those years spent at that label with nothing to show for it. He never came out with a album, EP, LP no nothing. He didn't even have any singles hitting the billboard chart. He thought being associated with lil wayne and baby that, that would give him that boost his career definitely needed. It's good to see him back with JD because that's where his best work came from in my opinion.

Maybe before 2009 he had hit singles but 2009-2015 he didn't have anything. He was busy with hosting 106 and park and doing shows like CSI

I’m 42 now and I can’t remember what happened but I thought he got sick and that’s why his career didn’t go much further. Him and angie martiniez but they love what they do so we know they can both can tap big they like radio and interviewing.💯😇❤️🌹

Bow wow mixtapes "green light " 1-3 and "I'm better than you" have tracks on there though show his ability to actually talk about his life. for example JD ,bow,jay rock and lil wayne " all my life " and Bow wow " Heaven " are great songs substance wise. his catalog is crazy people often say he is corny but he has a corny personality naturally but he still always could make good unlike people like nick cannon and soulja boy they have a couple hits but they are green(corny)as fuck they don't have that catalog bow has though. like I said one of the best "artist " from the 2000's-2012
