Amen on the 24-120. My workhorse lens for years. My othr lens is the 14-24 f. 2. With both on two bodies I have 14-120 mm without changing lenes. I do want an 85 mm prime.
The Godox system is really good and affordable. Start with on camera one. You can expand as you need to, adding the larger more powerful ones if you do events.
Jerry-big fan. thanks for the effort and sharing. i always learn something new from your demos (posing women-body away from the light and look back!). but i cannot remember what nikon dslr you were using before you went nikon mirrorless. did you use the D850 or D810? thumbs up.
You may wish to consider the Westcott FJ80 and FJ400 Strobe 2-Light Portable Portrait Kit, BH # WE4714, which features both an on-camera and off-camera flash option with wireless TTL functions and high speed sync. bhpho.to/381dZCJ
I'm not impressed enough with the Z6 & 7 series. The Z9 is a different cat. I'd love to have two of them, but I can't afford even one. However, the D850 is now affordable used, and D800s-very good cameras even now- are very affordable in excellent condition. I'll have to start saving $ for the Z9. * I have an SB5000, and it's a great unit. However, the Godox V1 with the accessory kit is better at just over 1/2 the price of the SB5000.
