i like Jerry because he answers all questions, no matter what is asked of him. i wish more people were like him.

francis p #if you listen to the words what he is actually saying as far as the questions Jerry didn't answer any of the questions, he would just listen to the questions and then go on about a story or how was the energy around there time NWA started question Jerry doesn't answered that one. right way he starts talking about his best time with E or some shit. just listen to the interview again please.

@Randelius

+Sea Pea And corroborated by multiple parties- including MC Ren who was there when Eazy met Jerry. I don't know why they had him jump out from behind some boxes like a leprechaun. It makes no sense. In fact, the movie is very vague blurry on the beginnings of NWA, who was involved, etc., makes no mention of the formation of Ruthless that preceded bailing Dre out and luring him away from Lonzo. Jerry's book is very detailed in those respects and should have been consulted for the movie-- it would have been worth an extra 2 minutes of tedium to get a straight explanation of that stuff.
@rightcoast7049

Right? I'm sure it's real easy to hate on the old white guy. In reality, he helped take Ruthless to the next level. He saw the potential in Eazy E and everyone else.

My read is that Jerry was old school record industry where the artists were always exploited so he didn't see what he was doing was unfair to the kids he was managing but he did have the genius to see that a bunch of kids from Compton could be a worldwide phenomenon and teenage white kids from Australia (like myself) would listen to that music.
@portraitofsorrow7803
@portraitofsorrow7803 7 лет назад
He is right on many points, white kids in the South, especially like myself that started playing musical instruments at 6 years old, we heard this and we didnt think "These guys are a buncha racists criminals"! No, totally opposite, alot of us loved Run DMC, Kool Moe Dee, etc.. we hear NWA and we heard their sincerity, their frustration, their anger over things that they had every right to be mad about! These guys literally inspired North Louisiana Church raised country boys playing rock like me, to research the truth, find out what had always been swept under the rug in our world! For instance, Selma Alabama, it made me furious! So furious i wrote 2 papers on Dr. King in College, then learned about the horrific atrocities in Watts and the actual things that happened! Learning this things after being led to believe these situations were just a situation where blacks were law breaking heathens was very eye opening to much more! If anyone is an honest person, truly raised on the Gospel the literal teachings if Christ, it was maddening and made me change my whole outlook on my leaders, and i have questioned and been very suspicious of anything thats told on main stream! I also did paper on Jackie Robinson, i played college baseball so his passion and next level talented was so inspiring to me to study his life! When a man walks that road, with a wife praying on het knees while he was gone, encouraging and reassuring him he was the best when he was home, this man is a true super man to me! A hero, a cut above the rest to do what he did in that era, face the advertises, the hatred, the threats, the insults everyday, i cant tell you how much i loved Jackie Robinson since i was in little league! When a man has 6 filing cabinets full of heinous death threats and still has the Grit to go out and do his job anyway, i get emotional thinking about it, so did his coach cause he loved Jackie also! He knew Jackie was gonna immediately push the level of play and competition in baseball to a level never seen, he even warned all the white players! He said "you boys better soak it up, learn all you can and step up your game, cause this guy just set the bar at a level none of you have ever played at, and if you think Jackie is the only Black Man thats gonna play ball, hah! You guys better wake up, cause they coming and ready to shine like gold, just like Jackie Robinson"!! In Pee-wee Reese's hometown he actually received letters telling to not play on the same field as that black man. He went to the club owner and told him he was gonna sit out, he asked if he was sick and he said no, He receive some threats. The team owner said "take a look in those filing cabinets Pee-wee, all those cabinets are filled with trash like that, and you're going to sit out a game because somebody threatened you"?? He said "then you can just go on and go somewhere else cause I'm ashamed of you"!! Peewee played the game, and before the first pitch, he walked over to first base, call timeout, put his arm around Jackie, looked at the crowd and said "smile"!! Jackie said "what are you doing man"? Pee Wee said "I'm just standing here with my friend best baseball player I know"! I love heart like that, many many black men showed unseen heart throughout history, after the Civil War all they wanted was a chance to prove what many already knew, that they could learn and do any and everything any white man could do, but many also wanted to stop, evil, pure evil from our enemy who hates us all!! That drive and determination was forced out of many, replaced anger and driven to a point that fighting back as one was no longer avoidable! Any human that can blow up churches with precious little children inside, they are inhabited demonic swine that secured a spot in a lake of fire for that sick action! It was made for devils just like them!

I like Jerry Heller, he needs to get rid of the ER though, but I think he's not even aware, I guess its like showing an old dog new tricks, But I like to hear his stories, he sounds sincere, besides, he's been working with black artists for decades, and his stories add up. Ice Cube and Dre's stories are always full of holes and anomalies.

We know Jerry Heller has an agenda, but man this DJ is just throwing under hand, anyone that knows hip hop knows Cube was the best rapper, writer in NWA and he proved that with AmeriKKKa's most. People try to diss Cube by saying he didn't get pussy, didn't claim a set, was a busta...all that might be true but truth is back in 1990 when AmeriKKKa's most came out he was the shit. And No Vasoline has go be one of greatest diss songs of all time.

no Jerry didn't steal . . .he ROBBED them. Huge difference. Stealing is while the person isn't looking nor aware. ROBBING is while the person is looking or suspected of being taken advantage of. So Jerry is telling his truth in a since, he didn't steal. They signed, he got his percentages and the crew didn't know what to look for. Rob-overcharge (someone) for something. Steal-take (another person's property) without permission or legal right and without intending to return it. (Jerry legally took his percentage) Eyes wide shut! #myopinion #carryon

it's pretty strange how we see people as evil or good by one prospective, and we don't make our own. I don't know what the truth is because i wasn't there and i don't know if these people(Dre, Jerry, Obama or whatever) are telling the truth because we are not inside their mind and this doesn't give us the right to think of someone as a vallain or hero: we make choises, they can be good or bad, that's all.

Man, I don't hate Jerry Heller, because I don't know the guy; however I think he was lying about not stealing. He claims that there was no reason to steal, because he had so much money, but how does he think the rich stay rich. Not saying that they steal, but they continuously find different ways to get more money, so I don't buy that. Personally, I don't think that Cube was jealous, because it doesn't matter that he was 17, groupies were attracted to NWA, so as long as they were sleeping with an NWA member it did not matter who it was or how old they were.

the saddest & most disgustful thing abt police & their interactions w/ blk makes is tht it continues to happen & neither the president, congress or any part of gov't has place any laws or policies tht would specifically address the issue & treat murder as murder & not make excuses for someone's behavior bc no one really knows the mind of another or their most inner feelns & thghts
