5'9 playing like 6'5. I remember him out jumping a corner, taking a hit coming down, and breaking his arm... running for a touchdown. Thats fucking Steve Smith!!!
@@daltonburbage6522he’s not wrong at all he’s had nobody to throw to him and being on the worst team in the nfl with the worst line and worse offense sure does not help anyone out, give them time

@@Josephsanranamad disrespectful for saying the real? Steve smith put up jerry jeudy career stats in 2 years. Shit ain’t even fuel him he jus took it like a girl.
@@Dbd3kbro y’all are so stupid honestly teams move on for multiple reasons. I hate that the underdog gets so much support and bias because if he was really as good as y’all make it he wouldn’t have this many supporters the way y’all talk about his career and the way his career actually went down is 2 different things I don’t think this guy is as good as guys like Wes walker or any 3rd or 4th stringer that had a good game here and there
I was at that game. Steve caught a deep ball on the first play. Kuechly ended the game and Tom went running after the refs complaining. Legendary game.
@@malachi412 so he had more yards than that and out the whole game the QB didn't have faith in him, now out the 2 he didn't get how many of them he missed and wasn't a bad throw?
One of the best ever.....Steve never ever backed down from anything....my man was tough as nails and concrete...miss watching him play....they don't make them like him anymore
@@enc69 underrated? Umm maybe according to Gen Z but to anyone who actually watched while he was playing knows he's one of the best ever. Never once heard anyone refer to SSS as underrated.
@@jjjordan3881 I grew up watching him you brainless mongrel. Ask anyone who their favorite WR was from the early 2000’s and their answer 9/10 times was Randy or TO. Ask any “Gen Z” kid and they probably don’t even know who he is.
Love his no-nonsense personality -- and that he can be kind and down-to-earth, too. I arrived late to his retirement party in Baltimore (with kidney stones+high fever but determined to make it). He saw me off to the side, trying to get my bearings but not wanting to approach him for a picture because he was dancing and it seemed like the time for that had passed. I think I had a pre-event badge or tag on though -- he smiled and asked if I was waiting to take a photo. In any case, he motioned me come over, let me take one and then went back to dancing. He didn't have to do that; he just noticed that someone who came to see him was looking a bit out of sorts, so he took a moment to reach out. Situational awareness on and off the field.
Steve smith is a LEGEND.!!! Even non panthers fans respect Steve smith. I’m a panthers fan so I, OBVIOUSLY, respect Steve smith but the guy was a BEAST when he played. Damn I miss his enthusiasm on the field. He will be in the HOF.

Meanest reciever ever. Best in franchise history. Dude was tough as nails. One of the best recievers of all time. He deserved that superbowl win but our kicker made it easy for Brady to march down the field snd win it.

Smith is one of those guys that is timeless. Something about football, the all time greats seem like they could play in any era. Different breed. At least Judy has this clip of a legend talking about him.
Fun fact: Steve smith out averaged Jerry rice in postseason history w/ only playing 11 games w/ 57 catches & over 1000 yards! Jerry's played 29 gms w/ 151 catches for 1900 yrds! Meaning steve smith, out of all postseason players, average twenty yards, more per catch! And he's only 5'9 yall! Man, i'm glad I got to watch him play!
Steve was right❤❤❤I always loved agent 89 because he talk that talk and walked that walk. Jerry acted just like a lil kid after Steve called him out. He was right about Jerry
Steve Smith was an absolute beast. Throw his physical stature in the mix and it's even crazier what he did in the NFL. 99% of WRs wish they could play like Steve Smith did
Absolutely far from, he had 3 really good seasons in his career. Every other year he was a “jag” just another guy barely cracking 1k yards the same as jeudy 🤷🏻♂️😭🤣
Steve smith was my favorite NFL player at one point. I was just in elementary school when they made it to the Super Bowl 😂 Smith was a beast to say the least

Grateful enough to watch this man play in person! And if a corner came into a game underestimating this man he would find out very quickly Steve Smith ain’t no joke
Agent 89 was one of the scariest WR to cover. Normally, you have a WR is either quick, fast or good hands. This dude has all of it and plays ALL heart. The dude is dangerous.
