These Pantomimes remind me of my childhood. My brother's and I use to sneak to stay up late on Saturday nights to watch Jerry Lewis. The next day we would be in trouble because of falling asleep during Sunday Service. We all agreed it was worth it, and still feel the same LOL.
I just realized that at this day and age being 4/8/2023, there is NO one like this with this man's caliber of funnyness? Jerry Lewis is in his own uniqueness of funnyness. This man still has me rolling and sadly Jerry Lewis is gone( May he rest in peace) and me being 53, he still has me almost in tears with laugher. I like a good comedian but no comedian in this Era can bring me to tears in laughter as Lewis can. He's unbelievably funny as hell. OK, the comedian Sabastian Moniscallco has had me rolling in laughter but that's it? Jerry lewis was the shit! Straight Up! I wish he were a young man alive again, to see him in action, live in performance would be amazing to see? Seriously, it's something I'd do if we could turn back the time? To see this man's performance, such as his performance in the Boxing Ring? Unbelievably hilarious, or to see him dance with fruit on his head cuz the man can dance with great form, as in Cinderfella, and other great movies. Damn.... I wish I could of seen his talent live. One Great Comedian, this day and age I see no one with Lewis's funnyness or skills? He's very unique. Truth.
I just love him so much and I too wished I could have seen he and Dean live. I just can’t imagine the hysteria they caused. Jerry was a true genius in every sense of the word but he and Dean together were magic!!
I LOVE JERRY! The Bellboy is my favorite movie.....well, no maybe...oh, I love ALL of his movies! I like the errand boy one,too....they picked the perfect music for it!
Graaaaaaaaaaaacias!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Qué lindo!!!!!!! Respirar un poco de aire fresco! Gracias JERRY!!! Cuánto has hecho disfrutar y reir!!! Qué bueno si nuestros jovenes pudieran reir así!!!!!!!!!!!! Quizá algún día!!!!!!!!!!!!! La esperanza nunca tiene que morir!!!
Jerry was a genius in so many ways. They'll never be another Jerry. I think Jim Carrey tried but he can't be him. Jerry was such a complex man and we'll never know what he went through but I know this..he gave it his all and that was brilliant! I miss this man so much. Love you sweet Jerry♥️
we was a comic genius...remembering in those days you had to BE funny...(no swearing, crude jokes etc.)....admittedly his style provoked exactly your reaction = love /hate. Love ya Jerry!
JoCo Comer That's Leroy Anderson's composition that was called, fittingly, "The Typewriter" in the final clip. Anderson was one of the most prolific composers that combined two different kinds of music. What Gershwin did by combining Classical music with blues and jazz and Aaron Copland did by combining Classical music with folk music, Anderson did by combining Classical music with Pop. You have probably heard more Anderson than you know. Some of his other compositions include "Belle of the Ball", "Plink, Plank, Plunk", "Blue Tango" and his best known composition: "Sleigh Ride".
Sweetest orchestral swing music and Jerry Lewis acting in this video is the Cherry on top of the orchestral swing filling. Very good music by Count Basie and his orchestra in the errand boy clip Eddie Jones - Bass Freddie Green - Guitar Sonny Payne - Drums Count Basie - Piano Joe Newman on the trumpet solo
