What is going on here? I've never been so active and steady before, I guess these are the only positive sides of this forced quarantine.
It's been ages since this song choice came out to my mind.
Actually, I realized how good this idea was after I saw a similar edit with Maya & Shawn from Boy Meets World (and also a Luke & Lorelai one, definitely heartwarming).
So... It's basically about Jess and his relationship (non-existent) with his dad and about how Luke helped him to become the wonderful grown up man he is now. I really hope you like it.

i never realized that as jess got older, he really took to heart what luke would say, for example: luke says “you owe me” and years later jess says “i owe you” it may have taken him a while to let things set in, but luke was the absolute best thing jess could’ve had at that time (next to rory). he needed him to get through life.

Luke , the kind patient man who was a non biological dad to many characters, Rory , Jess , lane , Kirk (in some ways) who stole everyone’s hearts ! That is why he is my favourite character

@@MiriSparkles This reminded me why Rory/Jess are so much better than Rory's other ships, btw. Lol. Seeing so many powerful Jess scenes that have nothing to do with Rory is such an amazing thing we get for the character of Jess Mariano whereas Logan, Dean, Tristan, Marty never fully get this level of development free from Rory, they all just don't. Jess was so special as a character and I miss all the complexity fresh when I watch vids like this.

@@VioletEmerald EXACTLY! I wish he stayed longer because I loved his development in season 6 and I would’ve died to see more of it! He’s the only boyfriend of Rory who changed for the better and it’s pretty obvious that they truly deserved each other right now. I wish we had a second part of the revival just to see them fall in love with each other all over again (especially Rory, since it’s clear Jess is still not over her)

I'm crying 😢 😭 luke loved him so much and wanted what was best for him. He wanted to lead him down a path that neither of his parents ever could. He wanted to give him the life he deserved.
