The show is about Lorelei and Rory, yet Luke and Jess are my favourite characters. They love each other but are always nagging or teasing one another. The most hilarious, adorable bromance.

2:08 remains my favorite Luke and Jess moment. I love the way Jess sees a deranged Luke walking by with a large sledgehammer and immediately gets up. "That's your room. Finish up. We'll hold hands and skip afterwards."

They are the male version of Lorelai and Rory.

I’ve watched Gilmore Girls a billion times but this time around I’m appreciating Jess’s little smile when Luke confronts him about stealing the baseballs 🥰

I think when Scott Patterson named his favourite scenes during the show’s run, the first few were Luke / Jess scenes, notably pushing him in the lake, and slamming the sledgehammer into the wall. Luke had many hilarious scenes with Lorelai, Jess, Kirk and Taylor.

These two were my favorite part of the show, they were so similar and different at the same time. Luke was there for Jess and helped Jess become the man he is later in life. There is a deep love and connection there. Especially love how they banter off each other and tease each other.

Jess is just sitting there and luke randomly takes a slege hammer and hits the wall😂.

"Okay, we got the patch, the gum, hypnosis tapes, Chinese herbs, self-help books, and several pictures of diseased lungs to hang on the fridge. Pretty, huh? This is done *lobs cigarette out the window* You will get up, you will go to school, you will come home, you will work in the diner until closing, you will do your homework and then you will go to bed. Where's the gnome?" lol I love that scene sm 😂

Best is when Jess nailed Luke about being Lorelai's golden retriever.

Funny thing was that in an interview he said wasn't suppose to be pushed in the lake, just pushed to the point of almost falling.

Love the video but you didn't add in like the BEST scene where Jess comes back and talks to Luke after Liz's wedding and Jess thanks him and he's like "Because in any relationship it's important to let the other person know you appreciate them and then maybe receive reciprocation" "Your hoping for reciprocation? ........ You got it" then they hug - awwwwwwwwwwwww love Luke and Jess! The definition of a love/hate relationship!

I love all of these clips. I think the best thing is that it's like they're the male version of Rory and Lorelai, with their witty banter, but their's was initially based on hostility that grew into love. I can't choose a favorite, but I do love when Luke comes in and grabs that sledge hammer and Jess looks kind of terrified as to what Luke is gonna do.

I really like their dynamic, Luke was the father he never had and Jess was the son he never had.
