When Jesse tells you with a straight face that he's never experienced anger in over 30 years, there's only one appropriate response: "Thass Amayyzin'!"

Scripture says that "the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom". God also tells us NOT to fear man, who only has the power to kill the body, but to fear God, who has the power to destroy both body AND soul forever in Hell. We absolutely SHOULD have a healthy fear of God, understanding His holiness, His perfection, and His high standard. Like the Apostle Paul said, "work out your salvation with fear and trembling". When you understand what's at stake, the finality of it, that there are no do-overs, and the very idea of an eternity spent cut off from God- those are TERRIFYING thoughts, and that's a GOOD thing. We OUGHT to fear that! These are the things that might just keep some people from going to Hell, and if that's the case, then by having that healthy fear, their eternal life was actually saved. When it comes to thoughts, we have to remember that Satan and his demons can certainly trigger or cause us to have bad thoughts, which imo, is synonymous with causing us to be tempted. Temptation, in and of itself, is not a sin. After all, Jesus Himself was tempted several times by Satan, yet He never sinned. Continuing to remain in, and feed those thought patterns that are not of God and are contrary to His Word, is wrong. And certainly, taking action based on those thoughts is sinful. There are two kingdoms. Both are warring over our souls, and both have the power to give us thoughts. For this reason, we must know the Word, and the voice of our Good Shepherd so we won't be deceived by bad thoughts, masquerading as good ones. Satan knows scripture too, and he's more than capable of twisting it.

I believe jesse believes that the moment you decide to follow Jesus, that you can and will not sin. That all emotions fade away into nothing. A person still needs to build themselves up to a good level with Jesus' help. You don't instantly become a saint. The end goal is what jesse is talking about. Just wanted to straight that thought process out to be properly understood by people. God bless

Jesse ! Jesus is God because God appeared in the form of flesh and he is the son of God as a metaphor for how he is a fully human and fully man. It seems that you are trying to deny Jesus' devine nature. Also you did not raise your case at all because you are setting human paternity which is in flesh to God's paternity which is in spirit.
