I know how everyone hates Jessica. But Jessica is essentially the perfect metaphor for a girl who'll take advantage of you. and give you just enough yo keep you hooked
I know a Jessica Lovejoy in real life. They're tough to spot but once you identify them you know to keep your distance because they are just trouble and will leave you in the dirt with no remorse.
Jessica figured out that she could make men do whatever she wanted, but she did not figure out that that magic power lasts only up to age 30. She is now about 40, and became a crazy cat lady.
not really....she did seem to like bart....maybe to much...and shes just emotionally disturbed for attention...you have to let out that frustration somewhere...she was gonna do bad things regardless of bart or not..
This episode reminds me when i met a cute girl in Sunday school & she acted the same way as Jessica in this episode.. She never wanted her parents to know that their 14 year old daughter was dating a 14 year old boy she met at the lords school.. We would hold hands & kiss sometimes behind the stage.. We finished Sunday school together & we never talked again ever since.. To this day i still remember our memories & her name.. Sofia...
ChrisKritik To be honest yes. I have her email cause i never had a phone at the time so i try to email her but its like she doesn't remember me or just moved on from me so i just left her alone
Charmx's Laugh Damn that sucks. But shit happens for whatever reason my dude. Your story reminds me of this one girl I was into back in highschool (7 years ago). I'm about 99% sure she was into me too, but I never tried to do anything about it. The last time I saw her was 2-3 years ago, but I didn't think about asking her out because it didn't cross my mind. This was about a couple years after I graduated. She lives near me. She lives on the same street as my friend, but there's no way I'm gonna go and knock on her door to see if she still lives there. I'll just let god and the universe play their role if they want to connect us again.
Jessica is a great character and proof of this is the fact that people still remember her even if she only appeared in episode (excluding cameo). It's a shame the writers didn't explore her character and her relationship with Bart more even in alternate universe scenario.
Thing is this episode shows how Bart is really a good kid, despite how he may be a bit of a rebel at times. He may be a problem kid, but surely not as much as Jessica is.
That's what they do when they can't figure out interesting plot anymore. They start relying on more and more stupid repetitive gags. Look at Homer f.e. same happend to him, even worse tbh
@@pilomchom The writers have done several "20 Years Later" future episodes, but they don't have the balls to actually advance the plot. Like, how many times can *Archie* go to the Prom?
I knew a girl in high school just like Jessica. She played me for a fool but I learned a big life lesson. The girl btw is now a single mum of 3 kids. The father died of leukemia when he was 24. She's now one of the kindest people I know
You ever watch a classic simpsons episode when you’re a kid and think that because it’s a cartoon, it can’t happen to you, then something similar happens to you down the line and you look back at that old episode and wonder why you didn’t pay more attention?
3 things that came to my mind when I saw Jessica -She looks asian sometimes idk why -She looks 5 in her main image -When I saw the main image of her holding the money I thought she was one those people at church who collects the money in those baskets
It’s Kirsten 101 Girl and very much a sociopath she has many of the traits While I’m a possible psychopath where I want to kill something and cut off its skin
@@edwardgaines6561 Grimes and Jessica actually are in the new intro of the simpsons (grimes tomb) and Jessica appears twice, on the school and in the big character shot. That's pretty impressive considering that both of them are one-shot characters in a series full of secondary characters.
