Well Clay clearly isn’t the only one seeing these ghosts so he’s not crazy. Jess, Alex, and Winston all saw them. They need to just join the Ghost Busters those should be their plans after high school. Who you gonna call? CLAY JENSEN!
The thing I liked bout S4 was that Clay got to see that Bryce wasn’t all that bad, that it wasn’t all black and white. When he sees the ghost of Justin and Bryce at graduation, that cracked me up. Especially when Justin said “we were brothers, me and him.”
Bryce apologised multiple times in season 3 also it was her vision of Bryce, so she views him as a heartless monster so it wouldn't of made sense to have her image of him apologise
He did apologize to her on the tape he left. But this isn't really him, it's just her vision of him. And despite his apologies, she still sees him as a monster who doesn't give a crap about any of the things he did. So he is saying what's appropriate for her vision of him.
@@gagnarly418 yeah, he apologized on the tape and confessed to raping several girls. He basically handed her evidence that she could have given to the police and even told her she could give it to the police if she wanted to. I think that's significant and think it kinda sucks that they had the ghost of Bryce come back and be an asshole again this season after they had very clearly shown him trying to be better in season 3.
Jessica isn’t really talking to a ghost here. Clay hasn’t been really doing that either. This is a plot device to show internal dialogue or convey thoughts and emotions within each of the characters related to people who have previously died in the show. This scene is meant to convey Jessica’s feelings about Bryce in this moment and symbolized her moving on from being his victim.
@@melissalouis4750 It’s still a plot device to reach the audience. The point is the “ghost” characters aren’t really ghosts or hallucinations but just meant to help convey to the audience members what’s going on in the living characters heads.
The irony of this is that Bryce was kind of right; he did win. He was the hurricane and while humans might not like them hurricanes are actually good for the environment. They are like the Earth's version of healing itself from being sick, so while Bryce's actions were volatile and destructive they ended up bringing everything together. I also think its poetic that Justin and Bryce would die considering their actions were the catalyst for the events of 13 Reason Why.
@@alefernandez2807 because basically in this scene Bryce is wearing his liberty high jacket instead of his Hillcrest Jacket, this shows that like Hannah & Justin he died as a piece of the Liberty high memories that they all shared together.
i think in the start jessica is more important than clay to justin, but when both starts live in the same house and became brothers, clay is the most important person to justin,so clay needs to see justin's ghost
No. The did all that to show he deserved a second chance on season 3, just to demonize him in the end. When she said how happy she was, he should have leaned in and said “thats exactly why I won Jess. That’s all I ever wanted in my last few months. You’re happy again. So I won.” And then walked away. Only thing that pissed me off about this season. Everything else was phenomenal
No she doesn’t, but she realizes that at least she made friends, real ones, Bryce made evil things, she raped people,, all the tapes happened bc of him, and made their lives hell, but this forced them to get United at least, and she feels good that she was able to get through this and make real friends at the end, but she didn’t forgave Bryce, she just let him go, she got over, she became stronger , she won.also, the show never made anything to make a Bryce or Monty redemption, they just showed that even monsters are humans and have feelings, just to show a more realistic look to the villains, cuz in real life even rapist have friends and sometimes a normal life and even cry and stuff when are arrested and can even “ regret “stuff after everyone close to them gets away , is a real thing that happens ,but that doesn’t mean they deserve to be forgiven, the show never said they were good people and never said that they deserve to be forgiven, actually through all the show, including season 3 and 4 they are always saying the opposite , and saying how they are monsters , and saying that they don’t deserve forgiveness, well in the end they died and weren’t forgave by them anyways. Is like in Twd where they show carnibals ,and then show why they became carnibal to explain , but it wasn’t to redeem them or anything, is just to give villains a more realistic look.
i think rather than forgiving him, it showed her accepting what happened, who bryce is and her coming to terms with everything. Bryce walking away is jessica moving on.
you can make the argument, what some people don’t get is that the hallucinations that Jessica had of Bryce , It wasnt the huminased version of bryce from season 3, It was Jessica’s sub conciseness version of him, because Bryce raped her and traumatized her making her see him this way, Bryce walking away was a signal that Jessica could finally put that trauma behind her and move on, you can make the argument Jessica forgives him if you listen to her speech about having to love people, thus telling bryce that is something he did for her and helped her.
sure but him walking away without handshake shows he cant redeem himself after all the things he did to Jessica, hannah, etc he can't be trusted even himself thought of that thats the only thing he can do walking away
I am sorry but Courtney and Ryan don't belong there, they may have been on the cassets but after the trial they bolted and where never seen again, they weren't there for all the high and lows, they are having to much credit, they aren't part of the group.
@@jasonmoukala8909 So why are you asking if it doesn't matter? Anyways, I care because this whole show deeply touch me and those characters so much more, so when I see Ryan and Courtney standing along their sides as if they knew anything of their pain or hussle, it slighlty bothers me.
I never understood how she felt so traumatized when she couldn't even remember the r*pe. She only knew because Justin told her. She mentions the horrible sensation at the moment but also can't remember. That's kinda weird.
