Really interesting what she said about eating vegetables how the fiber helps coat your intestines to slow the process of glucose affecting your hunger levels. Even when she gave an example of eating a few carrots before any meal if your in a rush and not able to cook with time. She mentioned calorie counting is not important, I believe if you want to achieve a certain goal it is not a waste of time at all. I think that would be like saying her glucose method is a waste of time and just eat how you feel, you would you use her method if their is a goal that you want to achieve. Also the last section with the quick questions I wish she would've had more time on what specific orange juice she meant because I would assume she would give different opinions on homemade or manufactured. Same thing with brown sugar, as chefs like Rick Bayless have said that manufactured brown sugar could be replaced with a more authentic option like piloncillo. Really great content 👍

No mention of dietary cholesterol, which could lead to statins, saturated fat, damaged endothelial cells, none of that mentioned about the eggs. Honestly, the more I listen to this, the more vegan is bashed on. Glad to learn cigarettes are vegan (they're not, animal testing). Not even on a plant-based podcast can there be a respectful dialogue. I love Radhi. I don't love that there was so much disrespectful language around a lifestyle you've chosen with no respectful pushback whatsoever. Oh, alcohol is vegan (not). Like really apologist when those of use who care about the merge of health and ethics make up such a small percentage of the world.
Get cookin for peanuts lady on your show for vegan proteins. Ditch the protein powder . Eat real food, cut sugar, cut refined carbs, sleep at least 7 hrs, do not count calories or fat . You need both no glucose spikes PLUS lower insulin levels as per Dr Fung and Dr Jamnadas. Need both Read obesity code diabetes code and cancer code re insulin plus Glucose Regulation
Exercise before eating uses visceral fat energy and after glucose is used. Need both. Big Dr Jamnadas and Dr Fung who should invite both say exercise before you eat is quite all right .
This was such transformative information. Since I’ve listened to it. I’ve applied 3 of the hacks 1) eating your veggies first 2) coating your protein/carbs 3) doing light exercise for 10 minutes. Honestly since applying this, consistently I’ve really noticed the shift. I haven’t even read the book yet. I’m so grateful, thank you to you both.
