HAPPY FE-BOARD-ARY EVERYONE!
I can't believe in just one month this all came together for my first major storyboarding portfolio piece and also the start of what I imagine is going to be much more Critical Role content to come!
A little about this piece: I chose this audio almost entirely because of Sam's lack of timing as he decided to start loudly flipping through his notebook right in the middle of a very touching scene between Jester and her trickster god. I thought that was funny, and then I thought "oh... Actually ya know what? Jester could be looking through her sketchbook during their conversation and reflecting on the journey so far". And here we are a month later with my first portfolio piece! All the background noise worked out for the better lol.
In the end it was Laura and Matt's performances that really drove home that, yeah, I wanna animate this.
This piece is really special to me and I'm really proud of what it represents for me as a storyboard artist moving forward in my career.
