"Perverse" is an album missunderstood by most people. It was ahead of its time back in 1993, they take the best of Pop Rock and Synth Pop with the attitude and sound of Nine Inch Nails, EMF, and even Depeche Mode.
In some ways it's similar to the movie Hackers which was already of the curve and people didn't understand it when it came out, Jesus Jones - Zeros and Ones should have been on the soundtrack
I knew J.J. during a vacation in London. It was the '91 A.D. An English friend of mine gave me an official tape of the band. Then, in my Town, in Italy I bought the next release, in cd version. I love them so much..during this Summer, the English friend of mine Is dead. Si, J.J. music reminds me him...
To this very day I cannot find a single copy of this album in any record store I've been to. And I ALWAYS look on the distant chance I'll find at least a used copy. Since freakin' 1993.
