Jesus saved me from demons a year ago. I was starting to be attacked by demons. I called out for Jesus and I casted the demons out in Jesus name and they left never to return. I felt the presence of GOD and felt his love for me. It’s as simple as that Jesus is the only way.

I would to have constant sleep paralysis during my darker years when I was very negative. Ever since I've tried to be less negative and started renewing my lost faith the sleep paralysis hardly ever happens now.

I think what contributed to Robert Powell being perfect for this role was not only his great acting and good speaking voice but also his eyes. He had eyes that looked as if he was looking right through you. Also just his stage presence captures anyone's attention.

Right there is the proof that Christ was the Son of God and not merely a prophet; every other prophet and apostle had to rebuke demons in God's name because they had no direct power or authority over them. Jesus on the other hand directly ordered them out, no invoking God's name was necessary as he had direct power over them. Even the more powerful demons, ones that the apostles could not remove, Jesus banished with a mere command. When asked by his apostles why they could not cast it out, Jesus told them demons of that type require fasting and prayer and are not so easily cast out. Or even later on when a man tried to cast out a demon, and the demon replied 'Paul I know, and Jesus I know, but who are YOU?'. Even Michael himself rebuked Satan in God's name because he himself had no authority to order him out directly.
+Mora Young I agree with you, the actor who does Jesus is great. My only problem with the scene that is shown here is the possessed boy. He's not convincing. He looks as if he is jumping around instead of being flung around like in movie the Exorcist. Also, he's facial features, etc... They should have applied a little bit of makeup. If he's possessed by Satan, he's not going to look so normal if you get my drift. According to documented histories of possessed people, their faces contort into masks of absolute rage, they speak in foreign languages and even levitate, etc...
I actually found the overdone prosthetics in The Exorcist quite silly. I think it looks much better when it's done like this. Depicting him as a rabid animal that's immediately restored on Jesus command is immensely powerful.
To me, it will always be the standard movie made about Him. It has such a terrific cast filled with award-winning, big name actors. Back when Hollywood wasn't ashamed of Christianity and artists WANTED to be in big, epic movies about faith.
I get goosebumps with this part (and many others)...such clarity, such coherence, and depth of intelligence that could only come from the one and only! Christ is like a brilliant crystal that touches and cleanses the soul.
I need to see Jesus,s face on the screen.It lifts my spirit, and has a beautiful ❣️ calming effect on me,as I am facing alot of issues that is traumatic.I don't care what comments others may have on how Jesus really looks like.To me Robert Powell's portrayal of Jesus Christ is real. His face, gentleness, his expressions and voice is soul lifting, awesome and amazing. Not a day pass that I don't watch a video clip of Jesus of Nazareth.I have got DVD 6 hrs. and Extended Version with deleted scenes on HD.2019.That,s how much I 💕 love Jesus and the movie. I have watched other actor's portrayal of Jesus Christ, not one of them helped me. As mentioned, I don't care what anyone says or thinks. I'm entitled to my own opinion. Even His Name has more power than all evil spirits combined. Jesus is almighty! He gives all who believe in Him power over evil spirits, they become subject to us and we are to rejoice not that we have this power....but instead because our names are written in the book of LIFE! If anyone wants to have everlasting life and live with God in paradise, they only need to ask Jesus to be their savior and believe. It's such a beautiful thing, to know how much God loves all of us .....even though we have all fallen short of His glory and sinned.

Simply the finest film of the life of Christ ever made. This scene made me weep when I first saw it, as it still does. When that poor boy smiles, his face full of his spit, my heart breaks.
Jesus is so powerful that simply by uttering "Satan leave him" the devils departs without even a whimper. This really happened, but the director of the movie should have made it more realistic. The actor is obviously throwing himself around. They should have shown him being thrashed around like in the Exorcist and more disfigured.

There are many Biblical movies and "Jesus of Nazareth" is one of the most epic of them all. Each and every detail of acting is done seriously. Each actor works out his/her part seriously that is why it becomes a success.
