@@JayDrewGWP even the 2000's. Her Live in Detroit album was off the chain. She definitely should've at least been nominated for a grammy with that album
I’ve been telling people this. Just had a conversation with a Mentor and one the greatest Organist in the Country. I said Twinkies style is still advanced in this time. IMO she was by far the best that was main stream.
Their blended voices are of a perfect tone.. Dr. Mattie gave us heart love and Jesus gave us a chance to experience greatness..thank you Lord for this song because it speaks to my spirit ❤
I love how they bounce off each other in 5 seconds from 3:55-4:00: Twinkie: "Took the chains" Dorinda: "Yes he did" Twinkie: "Broke the chains" Karen: "Oh yeah" Twinkie or Denise: *high belt off mic* and then around 4:10, they do the same thing but Dorinda hits a high G5 sounding like Karen!
Back when singers and even the music didn’t have to do much to prove anything but just sing and praise God with it. S u can see, God can carry his own without all our fancy unnecessary additions 🙄
Thank you #LORD #JesusChrist for you #unhook the #chain for me from cocaine, in my life. I was spiraling out of control, but your #Grace you have giving me and your #Love you have shown me before the foundation of this world. Anyone that is still in the drug game, please ask #Jesus to help you get out from that evil game. You can't do it by yourself i am truly a witness to that fact, i have been clean for 3 years. Now i working for #Christ.💞 Sis.Julia June 16, 2020💞
I honestly thought that for years! But a good portion of this song is in unison and the unison is alto so they all sound like Dorinda! And during this time they all sounded a lot a like! Dorinda was adding a lot of good Ad-libs and runs to this song
