Your Shabbas is the most beautiful aspect of Jewish life. It is so beautifully human, but it shines with divine radiance. And a wonderful example to us non Jews. Thank you.

It’s weird how you have a sense of pride, that you own a store that destroyed families for how long?, and then you are impressed with yourself about taking a day off. Like congratulations you followed command. Now if you can only follow the other nine.

The meaning of closing the shop on the weekend is to keep the Sabbath. Shabbat is one of the most important mitzvahs/law in Judaism, it is a mitzvah that connects the Jew to God. The Sabbath is also called a covenant between God and the Jewish people, and this is the reason for the great excitement

@@murb2586 1. This stores customers are mostly Jews & "A statistical pattern found repeatedly in investigations of alcoholism is the relatively low alcohol abuse rate for Jewish populations. Although 7.1% of the adult population of the United States are classified as alco- holics, less than 1% of the adult Jewish population are classified as alcoholics." 2. (More important) It's not an owners problem how a legal product is used by the consumer. Can I not sell a fast car to someone with multiple speeding tickets? Can I not sell a baseball bat or knife because it may be used as a weapon? Same here, people are responsible for their own actions.
