Drove by two of these now in the past 2 months. One on the west side highway and the other just before the RFK bridge. The first time around I saw like 20 cars pulled over and they all had pitch black tints.

I live in upstate ny and got a no contest red light ticket in NYC and I’ve never been to nyc the ticket shows a red car in the picture and the car they sent the ticket to is registered as silver and a complete different brand, now in combination of that mix up and no response= suspended nys driving privilege. Say you rent your car and someone receives a parking ticket and does not pay, here’s the result to that aswell.
Crazy to me that this is even a thing. In the UK, if you don't have everything in order, the police will very soon find you *everywhere* with ANPR. They don't even need to look for you, the cameras (fixed and mobile) alert them when you drive past, even just for no insurance or tax. Biggest problem now is cloned plates, but these get flagged too.
