Answering Subscribers Questions, this time Pablo has asked Us to Test two Jeyi Heatsinks. First up in this Video, JEYI M.2 Aluminum FinsCold iGlacier8 Heatsink using the WD Black SN850 on the Gigabyte TRX40 Designare Motherboard for PCIe 4.0. We're an Unboxing, Inspection, Installation and Test. We even measured the Thermal Pads for thickness. We spent way too much time messing with the Thermal Pads. However, the Results are fascinating! As Pablo said, someone has to beat the Acidalie! We also look at the WD Black SN850 Specs for Heat. The Heatsink chart is Updated to now include 13 Heatsinks and 3 Quad Adapters from ASUS, Gigabyte and ASRock. And the Firmware has been applied to the WD Black SN850 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. That was required to restore performance on the WD Black SN850 M.2 Drive while on the Gigabyte Quad M.2 x16 AIC. The Tests have had to be modified as Subscribers have asked about other options such as a Heatsink for a Laptop and a Heatsink for a PS5. No, this will not work on a PS5. Whereas the Jeyi Copper Finscold Q150 will fit IF the cover is left off.
