Apparently Mark Schwahn tried to get him back for later seasons (possibly the missing years between s4 and s5) but Bryan Greenberg was busy all the time.
I loved Jake and Peyton together, they were my second favorite Peyton pairing. If she couldn’t be with Lucas than I’d be happy with her and Jake. Jake, Jenny, and Peyton made a cute family.
at first leyton were going to be endgame then the writers changed it to brucas but because of their personal lives they had to change it again to leyton. I’m pretty sure jeyton could have been endgame if it wasn’t for the actors real life :(
@@rickettamoore7976 Chad and Sofia were together in real life so they put Brooke and Lucas together, and when they broke up in real life because Chad cheated on her, they went back to the OG plan Leyton, I'm sad because we could have had Jeyton. 😢 I liked Leyton, and Brucas, but i Loved Jeyton!!
I do like Jake but Peyton really didn’t know who she wanted due to her chemistry with Lucas knowing her heart was always crying out for him. Lucas and Peyton were absolutely right together in my opinion, Peyton and Jake did make a great couple and yes I do too wonder how things would’ve been if they were still together. Deep down Jake knew she loved Lucas and Lucas knew he loved Peyton, not Brooke.
I don't like Jake. Whoops I said it. I know everyone loves him and he's SOOOO great. But listen I missed the Jake years because I tuned into OTH in season 5, then when I finally went back to watch the beginning I was an adult. And while he is presented as sweet in the beginning, the whole Jenny/Jake/Nikki storyline ruined it for me. He consistently made the worst decisions and everyone applauded him for it. That was not a man who knew how to put his kid first. He put his feelings first and made everything worse because of it. Nikki was a kid too and she made bad choices for sure. But if she says she is here to do right by her kid, he had multiple opportunities to set up an arrangement that he could live with. But no, he made it impossible so she needed to get the courts involved, and now he is worried about not getting custody. And he didn't even try mediation at all, she just mentioned filing for custody and he hopped on a boat to Savannah like a lunatic.
Peyton falling again in love with Lucas and Lucas falling again in love with Peyton was sooooo forced. If you're not blind you can clearly see that they had moved on
I agree with you missvickiechips, don't get me wrong, but too many things and too many people have come between Lucas and Peyton and now that they are getting married, I don't think it's a bad idea.I especially hated it when he said those bad things to her ween he was with Lindsay, but thank God she's gone. Because if you haven't noticed no matter who they meet they still come back to each other. But I love Jake and I certainly wouldn't mind him coming back at all.
