This scene was amazing. When he comes through the door and haley hugs him omfg I CRIED. And I love how in the background brooke is so happy for them ughhhh.
the only thing I regret about this show aside from leyton going away is that Lucas never got a proper closure with his father and that's a shame cuz nathan/dan/lucas dynamic was one of the things that stood out from this show.
tbh that was the one thing that didnt annoy me about lucas being gone.... He never would have forgiven Dan. If he had gone to see dan on his death bed it would have been unrealistic.
Regardless of whether Dan was on his death bed or not Lucas still would never have forgiven him. Dan killed Keith, the only father figure Lucas ever had in his life, and that just wasn't something Lucas could ever or would ever get over. So, I think it was pretty realistic for Lucas to not have came back to say his goodbyes to Dan as that would've been totally unrealistic character wise for Lucas.
101Blackout as they should since Keith has been apart of her life FOREVER and they were engaged and Dan just killed him, because he was jealous of Keith getting everything he wanted Keith was a million times better of a person and Dan HATED THAT.
They were geniuses. As Dan walks in the line is “and it’s too late for dignity” they literally time these moments to perfection. They do this many times throughout the series.
In the series finale when Dan died and Hayley asks if he would like to hold his granddaughter Lydia that was his redemption because she will never know the bad things he did. I always cry when he dies. He died being a hero and when Keith's spirit comes to get him omg
There is no doubt this scene was epic. The music, the look on their faces, Dan's entrance, Haley's worry. Its probably my favorite One Tree Hill moment.
This scene is enough to make me want to rewatch the whole series, honestly. I was watching with my parents( we try to find shows to watch together as a family now that I’m older and can recommend shoes to them that aren’t cartoony ) and we literally all got chills, even though I’d watched the scene before 😂
The Vampire Diaries :) it split into another show too called the Originals.. I stopped watching TVD when Nina Dobrev left bc it got stupid.. I just discovered One Tree Hill and am at the beginning of season 2 got addicted to the show because of Naley!!!

I wished more people would comment on the youtube videos though like they do with TVD and TO.. I have no one to talk with about the show, but it's incredible!!

I am a big fan of James laftery and chad michael murray one tree hill season 1 through season 6 was extremely hard for me to watch nathan drama lucas drama lucas should have been there with you guys in the two part finale in one tree hill season 9 one tree hill season 9 got over 15,000 millon of people watching one tree hill season 9 and loved it so much

Nathan needs to realize what words he said at the end of season 4 when nathan goes dan lake house it set me off and I waa like there is no way I'm watching that episode I almost decided not to watch one tree hill anymore when cw network renewed it for one tree hill season 5 I watch it
How this episode ended was damn good, down to the music and Dan entering and Lucas and Karen seeing Dan after all this time. I just wish that in the next episode we could have seen Karen interacted with Dan.
love this scene. first time karen has seen dan out of jail, thought it was great. wish she was in the episode after this and we could have seen her confront him or something
At that very moment 1:02 were Lucas saw Jamie he also saw Keith its almost like the spirit of Keith helped Dan Bring Jamie home. This scene right here changed the show forever this is when everyone knew James Lucas Scott was going to be the heart of One Tree Hill and he is. Keith was reborn threw Jamie and he changed so many lives Brooke,Skills,Haley,Nathan, Q,Sam and Dan.
Too bad he lost a friend too soon. But I do love the montage in thee finale of him, Logan and chuck running around the cafe having fun as wild little boys
no lily is keith's daughter he died before he ever found out about her. when lucas was growing uo keith was the father figure he needed he brought him up as his own and lucas always thought of him as his dad. before he died he was gonna adopt lucas. so he was HIS father.
i always found it funny how at like 1.08/1.09 brooke is looking at jamie nathan and haley all emotional and its done really well and believably from her as jamies worried godmother but then u look at peyton to her left looking at god knows what nowhere near jamie haley and nathan with a really distant look on her face...she looks blind as fuck lol
people convey their emotions differently. just because one person is emotional doesn't mean the next will be the same way. don't be so judgmental and mean.
+Victoria first. i am aware that people convey emotions differently like how nathans reaction is joy and haleys is to cry in relief however in order to convey those emotions the actor should probably be looking in the right direction and not facing the camera in the next shot....and second i am neither mean nor judgemental because i for one love hilarie burton and the character and emotions that she conveys through the character of peyton...i just dont think this was a scene that she managed to emotionally connect the audience with peyton...she did in earlier scenes in this episode like her scenes with brooke but this scene wasnt a strong moment for the actress and consiquently wasnt for the character
as a mother myself now I know what Haley's going through, and Nathan but for a mother IMHO it's worse because we carry the child for 9 months and give birth to it and develop an emotional connection to it, it's like our hearts are being ripped out when their in pain or when their in trouble, it's a REAL pain.
I just got done rewatching the episode and I felt really bad for Dan like he did not abduct Jamie and it was the nanny like don't beat the crap out of him and yes he has done some bad things but he at least trys

Saloua Abdou No doubt. Dan got to Jaime(as Lucas feared he would)by rescuing him from the psycho nanny, thus slowly but surely getting to Nathan and Haley who kept him in their lives at arms length. To Nathan, Haley and Jaime, in certain cases, Dan from here on became their necessary evil.
No, they're cousins. Since Keith and Dan are brothers, Dan is the uncle, and since Nathan is Dan's son, the two are cousins (although, given how weird the family tree is, I can see why there's confusion lol).
yeah it was lindsay and lucas' wedding but i'm happy they didn't get married and my brother was like i prefer lindsay over peyton, and i'm like WHAT!???
It sucks that Dan got punched in the face after this. I mean, I know he's a murderer and all and I don't think I'd be able to have in in my life. But if he showed up with my son after some psycho nanny had tried to take him from me I don't think I'd punch him.
