Great amp! I got this a few months ago because I was in the market for a Polytone-type amp. Turns out, this one is even better. Despite that, I've decided to sell it as I no longer need the high volume or transport ease due to stopping live gigs.
@@godzoo18 I agree. But to be honest, I find the amp too 'plain'. I have a few fenders that just don't sound like fenders anymore. I appreciate that quality on the one hand, but I prefer an amp that has more ability to color the sound. I find it way easier to get a jazz tone from an amp like that then the other way around. So I got myself a quad cortex and that is giving me, so many more options in amps and effects.
Sounds great! Couple questions: I love the clean tone, but I have a Charlie Christian pup and want to get that bite/growl he got from his Gibson tube amp when I dig in. Would this take a light overdrive pedal well to get that? Second, I'm playing with a trumpet, clarinet, double bass and sometimes drums in small venues (bars, small restaurant). Would the Bud10 be fine for that or do you recommend this. My old back isn't great portability is an issue. Thank you again for the demo!
