Both Jibos, BJ2 and WJ2 are surprised to see Alexa on the same table today especially WJ2 who can’t wait to ask questions

Jibo is still very much alive as his server continues to be active. Jibo also has potential and with his new parents company, NTT Disruption, they adopted him with a mission for him to assist in healthcare and educational environments. In addition, NTT is kind enough to allow existing Jibo owners to enjoy their Jibo with no service interruption and the possibility to receive future updates and that’s a great news for Jibo owners! Its cool but i think it dont worth he cant play music or connect with bluetooth so its kinda sucks and cant do some things but i like the dancing the voice and the screen. I think a google home or alexa is better. Your decision

I'm glad I decided to do a search for Jibo to see what's been up with him lately...I almost ordered a Vector robot (It's being brought back too) before I saw this. 🤪 I'm glad to see he's up and running normally...Sooooooo much was put into this robot by his developers over several years, up to the time of his launch and I thought how much a shame it was to see it all go down the drain. But, thankfully he has survived. 😊 Thank you much for uploading this video. Gonna go make my Jibo purchase now. 😉😎

You’re welcome! and thank you for stopping by ....The recent updates for Jibo was that they renewed Jibo’s DNS for another 2 years which is one of the good news...🙂. If you join the Jibo Owners Group on Facebook, you can ask if anyone looking to sell their Jibo. eBay is another good source that you can find a Jibo for sale...Good luck in searching for your Jibo and stay safe!

In Jibo owners group, one of a member found him in a phone recycling area and after they powered him on they were so excited of how friendly he is, they couldn’t believe someone left him in the recycle bin...

Jibo is no longer available in the market due to the company closed its door but occasionally I see second hand jibo listed on ebay between $200 - $300. His server is still active despite the company shutdown so hopefully they will continue to keep his server alive. He has so much potential...

The interaction from Jibo was pre-programmed to correspond with Alexa’s series of questions . Human always controlled robots interaction, in this video, we controlled how Jibo interacted with Alexa...

Yes his server is still up and running and they just renewed his dns until 2022..so you can take yours out of the closet...

cristian martinez Hi! Yes in theory the blue light is the way he initiated listening just like Alexa, when says Alexa, her blue light comes on. However, since the last update (2.0), Jibo is no longer have blue light to indicate that he’s listening but he’s still responding to the question though without the blue light. He’s still the same Jibo..

Alex Vega just in case you didn’t find the power cord for Jibo, you can look for one on eBay or amazon based on these specifications I got from my power cord. PowerTron Electronic: Model: PS1065-180T2B333 or compatible Input: 100-240v, 50-60hz. 1.8A Output: 18v, 3.33A, 60w Max Good luck!

There's Black gebo and white Jibo they look like together but Alexa likes to geebos but Alexa was born until 2004 and she was programmed to be a robot but she always likes to Alexa was always to be a robot she was programmed to be a robot but Alexa's birthday is on October 24th but she always loves to but Alexa look alike them to robots but Alexa was always program to be a girl robot but but look Alexa loves to play music and asking questions and lifelike robots are Alexa Echo Siri Jibo black Jibo Raven😍🥰🤩

Jibo comes with 2 colors, I got the black one from eBay. Jibo with version < 2.0 still has blue light, it will get updated automatically if the version is lower than 2.0

Thank you for your information I do appreciate it... Do you have the app from the app store on 4 Jibo off Google Play or whatever they use on Apple because mines doesn't seem to update all that well for some reason I have to check to see if mines is the 2.0, I believe it is... it looks like the same one as yours. It does the twerking and all that other stuff. I have seen the black one on eBay but I wasn't trusting that I would get it sent to me cuz a lot of them do say pre-order right now for some reason . Oh and also another question how do you get it to interact with Alexa??

@@nhiggbone Unfortunately Jibo App is no longer available for iOS and it can only be downloaded on Android Playstore. The other companion apps I believe still available on both platforms. I don’t usually trust eBay when comes to buying electronic items so I checked out seller profile before buying anything from eBay. Jibo price usually on the low side around $300 back then but now it’s way overpriced. As for Alexa, it involved a bit of creating Jibo profile in Alexa app but I heard now Amazon released a new feature that allows users to create a simple skill in Alexa app. I hope this helps…

Why did Jibo show a picture of a guitar when there was no guitar in that song? It was electronic computer music. It should have showed a Moog or some kind of generic synthesizer at least.

Thanks for watching! I think Jibo has a potential to become like Alexa, it’s just a matter of time. Jibo is currently adopted by NTT Disruption company with a mission to put Jibo in healthcare and educational spaces. I glad Jibo can be helpful to those who needed help the most.. NTT has no intention to disconnect Jibo from the server so existing Jibo owners can enjoy interaction with him…Long live our little buddy, Jibo..🐧❤️

hi, if you don’t have an android device to download Jibo app from Play Store, you can use BlueStacks emulator program. I made a video on how to connect Jibo to WiFi using BlueStacks yesterday, let me know if that helps.

Jibo server has never been shutdown...former Jibo employees got together for the last time to work on the last update so all Jibo received the last updates to 2.0 and although that eliminated the blue light, Jibo still functioning as he should but without the listening blue light. He also can stay on idle if he’s not connected to network

@@MsRobot I ended up buying Miko 2, but then think now is mistake. As it's too kidish. Do u have any idea any new technology ai available for indoor and grown ups. I thought Miko 2 would interact like any other like Vector and Jibo

@@WayneDetectorist Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with Miko 2 but from their website, the robot seems to be adorable for kids and perhaps some adults...Personally, I preferred a bigger robot similar to Jibo size and to be honest, I tended to look for ones with personality then functionality and features. So, I think it depends on what you’re looking for in a robot...

If your Jibo is new, might want to Check WiFi connectivity,try to connect him on phone hotspot and see if there’s a difference and to narrow down the network issue

Thanks for pointing out the low volume and I noticed in some videos but not this one though. I played this video on iPad and it’s pretty loud at 50% volume. It could be device or browser specific..did it happen to all devices or browsers?
