Doesn't apply to the movie, as Logan clearly was not supposed to be John's successor. He just got triggered because his wife was killed and he used his knowledge of Jigsaw's MO to get his revenge. Personally I always believed that the message from the stomach was for Hoffman to make him remember that Jigaw's death doesn't mean that he can now just dump their plans and move on, but has to execute what John left him to do. That's why it is not over.
@Draconian Femboi Alliance I believe that Jigsaw did not want either of them to succeed him. In the end, he only wanted Hoffman to get the job done and stop. That is why he said to Jill that John is dead and his work is almost done.

Every time i hear the SAW theme, my heart starts racing. It sounds like a song to run to because of the adrenaline racing. It feels like you may be the Jigsaw killer and youre running like Hoffman in SAW VI
At least Charlie Clouser has always been consistent and the saving grace of each Saw film, Tobin Bell included. At the end of the day, whether you criticize the franchise for the direction it went in, dislike the apprentices, or felt the series lose its steam after a while, I think we can agree Charlie Clouser, as well as Tobin Bell have always been a pleasure to look forward to.
Zoologic21 Totally agree. As someone who only likes the first one (and has a semi positive outlook on the first), I can safely say that throughout the series, the main theme and Tobin Bell have always been amazing.

I liked Jigsaw, it has focused more on the story rather than the gore, even though the writers tried desperately to squeeze in some unnecessary backstory. But it fits pretty well in the timeline of events.
R_115_ A i think the films need to have around saw 3 levels of gore. Saw 3 had a good amount of gore however it did not get in the way of the story. Gore is never bad unless forced or relyed upon.

My mother and I just got done watching Jigsaw tonight on SyFy, and she told me that "Jigsaw very smart criminal because you can only die without using your common sense." These characters had a chance to live a different life, but they did not know how to use their common sense or "read between the lines". My mother was right because almost all the other characters were mainly focused on panicking in a variety of dangerous situations instead of actually using their brains and working together to get out of it without suffering too many severe injuries and casualties. As gory as this movie may be, there is a real lesson behind it and that is why Jigsaw will always be one of my favorite horror movies of all time because this film explains the importance of working together and using common sense to survive any situation and the tragic consequences if nobody uses them.
I became a 'SAW' fan in 2017 and in 2018 was I finally able to get ahold of and watch Jigsaw. It has to be one of my fav films out of the franchise, and the music has a large part in that.

My mother was the costume designer on a small film back in 1998 called the 4th floor and she used to bring me to work with her when they weren't busy and I very vaguely remember my mom speaking to a few of the cast members. I had seen that movie a number of times and i used to take it with me when we traveled. Fast forward to a few weeks ago I was watching the first Saw movie and when we first hear Jigsaws voice i thought to myself "Why does he sound familiar?". This had been bugging me for years but then out of no where it hit me, after the movie was finished i popped in The 4th Floor in my DVD player and that's why he sounded so familiar........Tobin Bell was one of the main actors playing a character who was only known as "The Locksmith" and my mother had worked with him on this small film and he was one of the people i vaguely remember seeing. While watching the 4th floor after SAW i still was thinking to myself "I SAW JOHN CREAMER BEFORE HE WAS JIGSAW" I still can't believe i didn't realize it sooner XD
Damn that ending kicked fucking ass. I was kind of board through the whole thing until that ending picked up the pace, and brought the old Hello Zepp sound into 😍😍😍
Over half a year later and I come back to this. Holy crap how I’ve missed this soundtrack.. as I said in my previous comment from six months ago, this soundtrack is rather familiar but so different to the original Hello Zepp in such a damn awesome way. The movie was not the best of the series, but it’s definitely a lovely comeback that especially shows how freaking shocking John Kramer is at continuing his legacy even decades later. “You have a choice: scream, or don’t... Khanverz DOPE Producing a horror movie is very easy if a great script is ready. Horror movie's budget is very low, unlike with superhero movies so Lionsgate will make more Saw movies as long as we fans vote with our wallets.

Lucky -_- I begged my parents to let me see the movie but noooooo we had to see Star wars. But don't get me wrong I love the Star wars franchise but the one we saw was....eh..
I liked it too. Honestly, it's cheesy to have game over in all the films - it was a sarcastic, brutal little f u to Adam in the first, nostalgic in the second but after that it became a cheesy catchphrase that never should have existed.
I love both this theme and the original score for different reasons: this one is an excellent when it comes to feeling cinematic, but the original is dark and gritty and tense and it captures the vibe of the franchise the best.

These saw soundtracks are so good you could just imagine yourself as an apprentice and coming up with the most random-ass storyline and pretend you're connected to all of this. XD
Love the entire franchise all honesty I was hooked onto them when I was 12 and fell in love since I think grew to love the series because I was adopted from Russia and had some traumatizing experience that this series too me was just deeply connected me to my past
I'm getting a feeling we may get a Jigsaw 2/Saw IX It hasn't been confirmed. Though I'm happy how this movie ended. If there gonna make another it's gonna be 2018 October just like they always do every year for a Saw movie.
Jigsaw is by far my favorite horror movie character. For the fact of he doesn’t target innocent people. He targets actually bad people who have ruined the lives of good innocent people.
this movie was really good like the realisation that everything you watched up to now was all in the past and john was alive but still dead, the confusion and the excitement also the games themselves were phenomenal all in all a great movie. kill me if you want is the reply section but this is my opinion like i really thought it was a good movie and i want to know what you thought of it
I saw it two months after its first day in theaters and i regretted not getting to it sooner. This film is good. Not great but not bad either. I thought it was fun two watch for what it had and i enjoyed the cool god-like complex jigsaw usually provides.
What I love about all the movies it had nothing to do with the people that die but really it's about JigSaws Apprentices. From Amanda to Straman to Gordan and to this guy.
