What I love about Jim is he has the potential to be a very versatile actor, be it either thriller or comedy. It was pretty good to see him change at times but when he did serious roles? I honestly think he can give a few a run for their money. But I know we're all too used to him being sporadic, jokester, and definitely funny, so we have to take a minute to step back and watch it, we can see he can be a good serious actor as much of the jokester. I really like him.
Jim Carrey is such an cute handsome multitalented iconic legendary actor of both comedy and drama, he played an unforgettable villian in this. Cable Guy is forever a 90’s cult classic, never to be redone or remade by the equally great Ben Stiller. Love Jim Carrey interviews, especially with Bobbie Wygant. Great interview and love what they are wearing, so 1996. So is the background with all the cable tv’s! Awesome! 😍😘🥰⚜️👑🌟💎✨🎞️🎬📸🎭🎥🤩 🥵 🤤 📺 ❤️ ♥️
The Cable Guy was the most Underrated Jim Carrey he did in his prime the critics and folks didnt like it cause of how funny and different the Ace Venturas were The Mask, Dumb And Dumber, and him as the Riddler in Batman Forever went Cable Guy was hilarious asf Ben Stiller did a great job with it.
Movie critics were wrong about the Cable Guy. It's a very good movie. They weren't ready for, dark comedy Jim Carrey. But Jim won critics over, when he did the Truman Show.
It was marketed to a general audience that weren’t comfortable with that tone, which is why liar liar was his next movie, had a lighter tone, and was a big hit. But obviously plenty people loved it/I loved it when it came out and it’s my top 3 for him. I think Ben Stiller learned from directing this and got the formula for Meet the Parents, which is uncomfortable at times but not dark or crazy. Which is why it was a much bigger hit for those times.
Today we take the time to rejoice as Biden's pick as assistant House Secretary and former man Rachel Levine has been chosen as Woman Of The Year by USA Today
