The only difference between Burnie Madoff and Jim Chanos is Burnie is dead, and Jim is not. I'm sure those who trusted him with their accumulative 6 Billion (worth 200 million now) are wishing Jim would join Burnie down under.

Xi told Bitme in Nov23 they are going to reunify Taiwan. Its only a matter of when. Buffett didn't sell TSM because it was a bad company.

8 billion fund management in 2008 to 200 million today. Yeah this guy is a real genius.

China's GDP went from $9 trillion in 2010 to $19 trillion in 2023. That didn't happen because of a lot bad investment. There were huge improvements in productivity. In 13 years, China went manufacturing simple items to the biggest exporter of cars.

Not if you look at TFP 😊
@Ukrainianbankaccount

@@calvinj3521 I am very skeptical of claims that China has not progressed far on total factor productivity. Chinese universities are now the largest contributor of quality science research according to the annual ranking of countries by the Nature Index, which tracks citations in leading journals. This has nothing directly to do with TFP but it is an indictator. It's very hard to believe a country could have so many high quality research universities (materializing in the last 13 years) and the economy and workforce are not also moving in the same direction (TFP rising too).
