Ratings haven’t been up since the insecurity footage aired.

Turning off the TV during Jericho is the new WHAT chant.

They struggle for even 700k consistently now... looney tunes status.

Each week that goes by that comment that Chris Jericho made about them passing Raw one day will never not be funny.

I wonder how Uncle Dave is gonna blame these ratings on something other than AEW being awful.

Remember how WWE was “holding everyone back” and “if they get exposed to a mainstream audience they’ll be popular”. Well here we are, it looks like mainstream audiences don’t like this PWG garbage indie wrestling. It’s no one else’s fault except their own because they have the talent and money to compete. Now we know why WWE is miles ahead of every wrestling company in America right now.

The fact they're going out of their way to stack shows like this tells me that they're worried about the ratings. If they can't break 700k this week, they're cooked.

I saw that PBS is showing a documentary on August 8 on Jim Crocket promotions. No WWE or WCW.

You know the ratings seem to be under 700k for good now, but did you all know that Edge's AEW run is the greatest of his career, according to Tony? 😊

That attendance is absolutely atrocious, by the way. The Saddledome seats 19K+ for hockey, so it could easily seat 20K+ for wrestling once they add floor seats. AEW only filled around 20% of the venue.

It will cover not just Jim Crockett Promotions, but also the history of professional wrestling at the Dorton Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. In the press release, PBS wrote about “When Giants Walked Here”; “On August 8th, 2024, PBS North Carolina will premiere a new documentary titled ‘When Giants Walked Here,’ chronicling the rise and fall of Jim Crockett Promotions and professional wrestling at Dorton Arena in Raleigh, NC. The film outlines the legacies formed and remembered inside of those hallowed walls.” “Pro wrestling Giants like Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Magnum T.A. and many more became legends inside of Dorton Arena. One of the "best Dyanmites" ever as the AEW die-hards called it, and it still only gained 3k viewers from last week. Even with Bryan Danielson carrying Hangma'am for 40+ mins and the Mariah May Heel turn. The rest of the show was the usually drizzling shits. MJF destroys Oceanspreay on the mic while Meltzer's golden boy stumbles. Swerve is an afterthought yet again. Manure Moans also gives the same scripted promo she always does. Plus Samoa Joe was taken off TV by JeriKaren and a fake wall. I'm sure Hotshotting MJF/OceanSpreay and Swerve/Okody this week will clearly boost the ratings past 700k... LOL.

Every time that's the segment that I kind of look forward the most because I'm always eager to see what wacky sounds they have. I get so excited to hear these AEW ratings segments even though I haven’t watched AEW in years. I get equally annoyed listening to them run everything about the Wyatt Sicks into the ground. One thing about Jim, he’s consistent. Once he makes up his mind he doesn’t like something, there’s no finding any silver lining about it ever again. Bo and Gable could have one of the better matches of the decade at SummerSlam and he’d still dislike it because the lights went out on his entrance.
